It's sorta like writinga story. Example:
SASUKEDARK:
Mike stared at Riky's dead body.
MONJU:
"Is he dead?"
SASUKEDARK:
"I think so..."
And so on.

A role play is like acting, you make up a character and control him in a story. You explane his actions, you tell what the character says (with "") explain how the character feels, and so on. You communicate with other characters in the story, played by different people. If you want to see how RPing looks like, just take a look at some RPs

lol and most rps prefer if you can give the character some life. i have 3 rp characters and i made backstories on my blog about all of them
You mean give them a background? Which you need for almost every RPG?
now tiger, I understand where your coming from, but would if we didn't bypass it by writing thinngs like he.ll or he11 or like h*ll or h*** etc, i understand that's not ok...but why can't we say what we want since the site censors itself like when I say * , it ends up like an astrik, why can't we just leave it like that. because I don't understand why

would be a bad thing, since you are switching a curse word with a symbol, I mean it makes sense, since in that quote I actually didn't even type in the word *, but just put down an astrik.
