IGN Rating
IGN rated this game a 7.4
I was actually dissapointed by the review...
Since they gave Ultimate Ninja a 7.5 which would make this game WORSE then the first game which is just ridiculus.

Don't listen to IGN though, they don't know what they are talking about. *

Re: IGN Rating
While I haven't read the review, most gaming sites and their reviewers aren't huge anime fans. Sure you might find one or two here and there, but its rare.
But in anycase, the best review to read/listen to are the ones by fans. Fans of amine games and fans of Naruto.
Though to be fair, while this game is a step up from UN1, its far from perfect.
I would've probably give it a 7.8 - A must have for Naruto and anime fans, and fun enough for Fighting game fans, but it still has a few issues thart needd ironing out.

Which does happen a little later on.... >_>

ya its true that tends to happen alot. i dont know why so many game reviewers have it against anime games. i liked the first one and i like this one so far if i rated it right now id say a 7.9

Re: IGN Rating
Reviews are pointless, especially when reviews are on a franchise and the reviewer may or may not dislike or understand the franchise.
Just formulate your own opinion.

Re: IGN Rating
Its retarded how it got such a low rank. because it seems like an awsome game to me.

Re: IGN Rating
Like previously stated above reviewers aren't going to give anime games good scores.* Even if the game seems good to us fans of the anime they rate it more as a non-fan and try to look at the actual gameplay.* That's usually why so many reviews for Naruto, DBZ, Gundam, and Inuyasha games get such low scores (though there are a few out there that truly suck).* If a fan of the anime were to review it and see closely it followed the anime or something then they would obviously give it a better score.
Another reason that I think most anime game reviews get lower scores than other games is probably because right off the bat they get marked as, generic low-brow games that don't add anything to a game. Rather they think the game just uses another games gameplay while slapping on the characters and storyline from an anime.* Then when they play the game they* look more for similarities between this game and other fighters, RPG's and the like and think, "Well, this a blatant rip-off of such-and-such game" instead of, "Well, this game uses this in a very creative way different from such-and-such game"
Well I've rambled on for quite a while now so I'm going to wrap this up with...well that's why I think anime games get such bad reviews.*

Re: IGN Rating
I agree with that.* It also depends on who gets the game.* I used to review titles for gamingexcellence myself and I can tell you that reviewers never come to a consensis on a game like this one.* Look at the reviews for Naruto Clash of Ninja 1 and 2 on Gamespot.* The guy trashed them, but seeing as both are Player's Choices in such a short amount of time, my guess is that at least a few people disagreed with him on that review :P* I will say this, never take a review for the cold hard truth.* All it does is gives you an opinion on the title and an idea of what to expect.* If the game has glitches, then that will be noted in the review.* From what I have seen with this game, I would give it an 8 as a fan, 7.7 as a critic.* It could have done better with more*game modes, online play (everyone wants that, sorry to say) and being able to change the voices.* GOD if I have to say I hate Naruto's dubbed voice one more time I am going to*lose it.*
