Lance's eyes opened wide at the mention of his grandfather. "Bastard..." he growled, grabbing a PI outfit and kneeling up, running at Dynamo. Quickly covering his head with the outfit, Lance began to strangle Dynamo, roaring "Don't you dare speak to me of my grandfather like that!" he seemed to completely ignore the presence of Veronica and Kimiko, intending to only kill Dynamo.
Dynamo struggled a little before searching for Lances' face, he found it and poked both of his eyes very hard, almost poking them out even. That made Lance stop and setting Dynamo free. "You're grandfather was a failure. He'll be the cause of our peoples' demise. I'm amazed I haven't had him assassinated. Guess I'm just a good person." He kept his dull and manly tone, not really losing it. "Now. Who wants to take care of my sons' arm?" The man walked to Kimiko, picking her up by her arm. "You really have no purpose here. You're just gonna kill these good kids." He told her, although in-vain, then walked to the edge of the boat.
"Woah, stop!" Veronica exclaimed, rushing past Lance and reaching Dynamo grabbing his arm. "Let her go.." She said, looking at him with a serious look.
"WHEEHEHEHEHEHE" A really hyper laugh was heard approaching them all. It was Tara, and she was holding a bottle of wine. She stopped and looked at everyone "What's with the gloomy faces!?" She said with a huge smile before hiccuping a couple of times. "LANCE! I LOVE YOUUU!" She shouted walking over to him with her arms open wide.
Lance hesitated for a moment, completely ignoring everyone's existence. He wasn't breathing, he seemed to be staring at his hands, and his eyes bled furiously. But something was different. His eyes weren't their regular red color anymore. They were pink. "I-I-I'm..." he tried to say, his eyes unable to become any wider. "...blind." Feeling Tara touch him, Lance jumped back, quickly. He looked like he was staring at her, but actually, he couldn't even see anything at all. Still not breathing, Lance simply ran past Tara, attempting to get away from everyone, with a fearful expression on his face.
Dynamo turned to look at Veronica and also to see Lance running away. "My bad. I guess I made him blind...oh-well. And you think you can stop me Miss Veronica? I don't think so."
Emile ran up from Dynamos' blind side, sending them both over board...however, Emile managed to grab Kimiko and grabbed onto a small ledge. But his fingers were flowly slipping. "Oh gosh...I NEED SOME HELP DOWN HERE!"
"Holy crap where did he come from" Veronica thought while watching three of them go over the railing. She was completely frozen the time before Emile spoke since she didn't see him. In a moment she ran over to him, grabbing his arm. After a lot of effort, she managed to pull both him and Kimiko back on board. Once they were safe, she fell down to her knees, placing her palm on her forehead, calming down. "Almost gave me a bloody heart attack.." She said taking a deep breath in. She looked around "Where's Setsuna...?"
"Huh? Lance?" Tara watched him run, and decided to run after him. She grabbed him by the shirt, trying to stop him "Hey! What's wrong!? Blind!? What are you talking about?"
"What, Tara?! Can't you see?! I'm blind! No vision! It's like having no eyes!" Lance bursted in her face, before continuing to run. He bumped his side into the wall a few times, but stopped halfway down the side of the ship, dropping to the floor and beginning to cry. It was almost impossible to tell, because of the bleeding, though. "I'm blind..." he muttered to himself. "...I'm blind. Blind... blind... blind..." he repeated, driving himself crazy in a way, still crying.
"Here he is." Emile picked up Setsunas' severed arm, waving it around like he was waving. "Well, what's left of him." He tossed it over board, into the water. "I'm going back to sleep. Looks like it's gonna rain tonight." He walked over to Veronica, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Don't stay out too late!" He yelled to her, walking back to the cabins.
Tara kept following him. "Lance.." She whispered, looking at him from a distance. She still was drunk a bit, but this shook her up, so it was like she just pushed her drunken self aside. Slowly approaching Lance, she went down on her knees in front of him. Hugging him tightly, she kept whispering in his ear "It's okay, it's okay, it's okay.." When he tried to struggle she would just tighten her grip. She wasn't going to let him go till he calmed down.
"STOP THAT" She shouted at Emile looking away from the arm, completely disgusted, she felt like puking. She was about to ask what happened, but was stopped by the kiss on the cheek. "........." With a completely red face, she just lowered her head a bit, staring at the ground.
Emile saw Tara and Lance, then instantly started laughing. "Ohh, boohoo. You lost your sight. My friend just lost an arm and got tossed into the sea. Now get up. Go to your cabin, Tara. Before I manually make you."
A silver slime-like substance crawled up the side of the ship, slowly heading for where Kimiko and Veronica are.
