Suggestions for Ninja Storm 3?
I was wondering where we could submit suggestions for the 3rd installation of the game? Cause I've been searching around but I haven't been able to find any official place to submit suggestions. The only thread that I could find that was even related to suggestions was a user-made one on the IGN boards. That being said, because I can't find an official place to submit my suggestions, I'm just going to copy and paste my post from the IGN thread here to spread my suggestion. Feel free to give me feedback about my suggestions (positive or negative), and if there is an official site/thread to submit my suggestions, could someone please post the link to that as well? Thanks!
Anyways, now that I'm done ranting, here is my suggestion for the making of Ninja Storm 3:
*
Idk if this is realistic or not, but I think the battlefields for missions and multiplayer battles should be bigger. I know they're big already, but I was thinking more like Call of Duty maps big, so that they could include hiding places and stuff where you can ambush, so it could be more like a strategy type of game? Basically, it'd be a first-person shooter game with ninjas instead of shooters. For example, I was thinking it'd be awesome if the battlefields could be the whole forest or like all of Konoha or something like that, since it'd feel like you're actually in the world of Naruto. Can someone tell me if such a suggestion is realistic though? Like can it be done technology-wise? I don't see why not, since Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty were able to make it work. It'd probably require a LOT of work though if they wanted to capture the entire naruto world. Another problem that I see would be that games might take too long. I don't think this would be a problem for the story mode, since story modes tend to take a long time to complete anyway, but it might deter people from the multiplayer mode. However, I also think it would make the story mode and multiplayer MUCH funner, allowing for people to play through story mode cooperatively and to compete in ninja battles as teams, rather than as individuals, and again, it's working for Grand Theft Auto and COD... Furthermore, this could address the complaints that people have made about allowing the open world to have more things to do than just walking, making the story mode gameplay more like a Final Fantasy one, where players interact with their environment while completing the story mode. However, since people are already used to the gameplay for the Ultimate Ninja/Storm series and probably wouldn't like such a change, would it be better to make a new Naruto series altogether if they were going to make such a change to the game? Lastly, such a change could either deter gamers or attract them, because I personally think it would be AWESOME, but perhaps non-Naruto fans wouldn't like it as much if they just casually play the naruto series for its fighter genre rather than for its Naruto-ness. But then again, a lot of non-Naruto fans dislike the gameplay and critics have said that its gameplay lacks depth, so perhaps this is just the change that the game needs to subdue such criticism.
So, to sum up my entire post:
Pros of having bigger maps
1. More Naruto-ness (It would feel like you're actually in the Naruto world)
2. Longer games (could be a pro or a con depending on what you prefer)
3. Possibility of battle tactics/strategies (e.g. setting up traps and ambushes and whatnot)
4. More serious gaming
5. Team battle capabilities (teams can vs. each other like in strategy games and shooters, but using naruto characters instead)
6. Show dedication to Naruto (since the game makers made themselves out to be SUCH big fans during their video diaries) and possibly increase the Naruto fan-base
Cons of having bigger maps
1. Unrealistic (I know nothing about programming so I don't know how hard it would be, but I'm guessing it'd take a LOT of time and effort to recreate the entire Naruto world into a game. But then again, they've already made most of it, they just haven't made it playable in battles. And again, GTA and COD did it.)
2. Less attractive to non-Naruto fans (I wouldn't know though since I'm a major Naruto fan)
3. Less attractive to casual gamers (Again, I wouldn't know because I take my gaming kinda seriously)
Basically, I feel that making the maps bigger (and by big, I mean BIG, not just slightly bigger, but the actual size of the Naruto world) would make the game AWESOME and it would show how much the game makers REALLY love Naruto, but it is unrealistic economically, since it might reduce fan-base. However, it might also have the reverse effect and attract a ton of fans.
P.S. I realize I kinda referred back to how it would be similar to GTA/COD a lot, but I'm not trying to imply that Cyber Connect should copy the gameplay for those games. They should adopt the concept and make it their own original idea, making it work for the Naruto world. Also, I was trying to emphasize how such a change might actually be beneficial to the game's popularity, since the most popular games implement such gameplay, and how it actually is possible to make such a game. Basically, the references to GTA/COD served to contradict the cons that I was proposing.
Re: Suggestions for Ninja Storm 3?
Welcome to the community.
Yeah, it would be quite nice to have a larger map, but, as you said, it does seem like it would take a LOT of work.
Re: Suggestions for Ninja Storm 3?
Things that are needed.
1. Jutsu clashes
2. Jutsu customization
3. Character customization
4. Make your own character/ jutsu
5. 3D roam like the first
6. Massive world map like GTA series.
7. 100+ characters
8. Unique create your own character story line
9. More team combos/ team system improvement *
10. Much improved online *
11. Survival/arcade modes*
Things that need to be removed.
1. 2D backgrounds*
2. Crappy online search*
3. Lars Alexanderson or any other worthless added characters not from the series, unless they're awesome. *

Re: Suggestions for Ninja Storm 3?
i think they need to focus more on battles and the complexity of the combos
um im not sure about even being able to have 100 characters lol but i did want to see Konohamaru in the game like when he uses Rasengan and some Part 1 characters
i agree on the adventure mode upgrade most of all. I love how they grasped exploring all the villages in the story BUT if they had created a full 3D environment like Storm 1 for ALL of the areas it would be amazing(i know im pushing it but its necessary to get full enjoyment) especially since i usually get games games for their adventure mode
i wish they did keep clashes but again with the decent online, it would be troublesome
i did enjoy survival modes in the Nintendo Naruto games so i would like to see that reappearance
there were some sections that they skipped in the story line that i wouldve preferred over others
especially more request missions. I kind of hated the fact that your requests were usually in the Sand and Leaf village. If they had been EVERYWHERE and for each character(Naruto, Sasuke, Asuma, and whoever else u got to use)
but overall the game was still good: 8.7/10
Re: Suggestions for Ninja Storm 3?
I think there should be make your own characteer. Choose your own village. Roam around outside to like other villages. Make your own jutsu. Have your own suit wearable stuff.
Re: Suggestions for Ninja Storm 3?
i thought about the larger map thing in the first one because my friends and i found a glitch to exit the map in konaha. all you haqve to do is place two boxes against a wall* or fence so there is a triangle of room to land and have your clone through you at the triangle, and ta'da your in a building or outside the fence. we figured it out trying to land on the boxes and fell through the wall.* Not sure if any one else has mentioned this or figured it out but we thought it was cool. the major probablem in the sugestion would be this exact thing here when the coding is pinched and practaly turns you into a ghost. little knowen fact in the first storm the trees outside the map just a few yards are cadboard cut-outs any further are like curtains floating in the air.

Also everything under the map is water code and level with the river.
Re: Suggestions for Ninja Storm 3?
my only suggestion is the part where hinata jumped in to help naruto fight pain, they should make that part exactly like the anime.
Re: Suggestions for Ninja Storm 3?
2vs2 would be great. But I'm wouldn't want a Naruto game thats shooter-like, except with Ninjas. There are more than enough shooter games and I really enjoy the open battle.
More areas as huge as Konoha would be great to explore, but not only*by collecting scrolls the whole time. Rather maybe some secret boss battles from the Naruto movies in form of missions by villagers that are well hidden or hard to reach.
I also agree on more characters: Konohamaru, Ebisu, Zabutsa and Haku, Obito, etc... with a secret costume to unlock, for each characters (through side quests or achievements).
