is it byakugan hinata because you have to beat the story line then do the techniques quest from hiniata (like get her medical jutsu) then you talk to her father outside the chunnin exam stadium, then talk to hinata and you will be byakugan hinita vs neji and you have to fight and win then you will get byakugan hinita as a character. I hope that helps.

You have to beat the second lee push-up challenge in order for hinata's dad and others like kakashi, tenten, temari*etc. to appear.* I beat the game and was like "where's hinata's dad?!" so I could unlock her.* Also I wanted all of the jutsus but I couldn't find any* of the players.* I was definitely tired of losing to Lee but in the end I had no choice, I didn't want to use the password so I had to suck it up and try again & again & again.*

The other Lee is in the Chunin Exam Stadium, far right end.* Once you beat him (don't worry you will), go outside the stadium to see Hinata's dad.* He's closer to the lift that takes to the hokage faces.* Talk to him.* Go find Hinata in the training field. Talk to her.* Go back to the Chunin Exam Stadium.* Hinata & Neji should be in the middle of the stadium.* Talk to them.* Complete battle requirements.* Go back to where you spoke to Hinata's dad,* He'll thank you blah, blah, blah. Congrats! Byakugan Hinata is available in VS. mode!
