Decided to make a little thread with info on Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3. If I ever come across some more info or something I will be sure to post it.
Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3 (Originally published by the name of Naruto: Narutimate Hero 3) is the third installment in the video game series of Naruto Ultimate Ninja. The english version is set for release on the 25th of March, 2008.
"The ability to build up a character's technique on a meter is emphasized more from the previous installment. Secret techniques have been limited to one per character instead of three like the last two titles and uses only one attack. Also, if a secret technique is used and the user loses than the winner receives little or no damage, depending on the technique. But the player gains the ability to select from a range of secret techniques (the number of jutsu per character varies between 1-6 techniques) to use before battle."*- Wikipedia, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja
Its said that this game has the largest character roster out of all of the games in the Ultimate Ninja series. These characters are:
* = Yes, I know the actual name is Drunken Fist, but in the dub it was changed to elixer that he drank so it was the Loopy Fist, in order to maintain an appropriate TV rating, and since this game is based on the North American dub, that is what it will be.
There will also be equipable jutsu just like Naruto:Ultimate Ninja 2. When two jutsu of the same strength clash, the game goes to a mini game, in which the player will have to press a button repeatedly, until either jutsu overpowers the other.
In this version, the player will be able to both*temporarily transform (like Sasuke's Cursed Mark LV1 transformation) through special jutsu, and other, permanent ones, that last the rest of the*battle (like Sasuke's Curse Mark LV2 transformation).
Like the previous installment, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2, this game has a RPG mode, but unlike Ultimate Ninja 2's RPG, this game's RPG will*allow*you to jump on buildings and rooftops,*and will have a larger map for you to explore.
In this (US) installment, players will be enabled to have the option of the original Japanese Seiyu's other than the american dub voices.
Whew that was tough, took a good half hour, and I will update whenever I can.
