Here it is the first five chapters here for all to read. I have gotten some good reviews of the lastest revise. I hope you all love it.**
Chapter one: Rebirth***********
One thousand years ago a being rules over all lands in both the human and demon realms. This being was of unknown origin and was said to be of the purest evil. He was so strong no one dared to oppose him. Those who did were killed without a second thought. He had no one with him except his demon apprentice. This being ruled over all with the blade of darkness in his hands that he kept with him at all times. One day he was suppressing a village of druids who had attempted to up rise against him. While he was torturing the weak and setting the village a blaze, the elder druids were completing a seal to rid the world of this evil being. The being noticed the rise in spiritual power as they were finishing the sealing spell but ended up too late. The druids, with the last of their strength, sealed the being inside a dead tree. This tree would be where the being would live sealed away from the world for eternity. *********** The world grew and become vastly advanced and then fell back into a new dark age with no technology. Wars ravaged the lands, and people lived in small villages. In the present day in a forest where the dead tree that sealed away the evil being was located. Inside the dead tree the blade began to resonate with a blood crimson aura. The aura grew until it sent out a huge wave of energy that destroyed the seal and charred the land around it. The blast blew debris everywhere. When it settled down, out came an ominous figure that stood near six feet tall. It was wearing a black button up shirt which was unbuttoned and sleeveless. The shirt showed off his pale white skinned chest and arms. Black loose pants with a sword holster for a belt covered his lower section. The holster held a gray blade. He wore no shoes. He had short, jet black, hair that is spiked straight up and dark eyes that reflected the depths of hell. When he smiled he showed off his razor sharp teeth. He emanated a bloodlust aura. His age is unknown. “I am finally free from that prison! After one thousand years of *, I am finally free!” He attempted to take a few steps but felt very weak. “It’s as if all my powers have been drained.”He thought back to when he was being released and how the sword sent out a blast of energy. “That must have been when it happened. The blade freed me by using my own power. Maybe I should see just how drained I’ve become.” He attempted to create a mass of energy in his hands, but failed to make anything come forth. He then tried to create an after image of himself by trying to move at high speeds but couldn’t do this either. “I must be only at ten percent my full potential. At least I have my blade.” He took out the sword of darkness which looked like a grey mass. The mass began to morph and changed into all the weapons he could think of from swords, knives, spears, bows, and much more. “As long as I have this I will be able to regain my lost powers.” He sheathed the blade. “I think I would like to test myself on some victims.” He took a scan of the land that was close to him and headed for the largest gathering of spiritual power closest to him. “I hope there are lots of small children and women where I am going. I hope for a real good blood bath.” He took off towards the village he found. When he arrived at where he was heading he came upon a small village that was named Megami. The village was entirely surrounded by a thick forest of green trees. It was full of life, fields growing plants, children playing in the dirt street roads, the elderly sitting and talking with one another. This was the perfect place to start his reign of terror all over again. Ankoku sat perched in a tree that was near by the entrance of the village. “I couldn’t have hoped for a better turn out.” He looked down and saw someone looking up at him; it was a young man who was staring at him with his mouth agape. Ankoku leapt down to the young man, grabbed his head and snapped his neck killing him instantly. He began to destroy the village. He took out his blade and morphed it into a bow and notched an arrow and lit it on fire. He released the first bolt into a nearby home that had two small children and an elderly woman nearby. The house caught fire and sent the villagers into a panic. He released several other bolts lighting most of the village on fire. After he had done that he changed the bow into a short sword and began to find people and disembowel them, while he would also change the blade into a longer broad sword and split people into two halves, or rarely decapitate them. After he had finished off nearly every person he could find he came upon a small group of five children. He looked at them with a grim smirk on his face as he threw the head of his last victim at them forcing them to scatter. He changed the broad sword into a bow again and released several bolts per second turning four of the children into pin cushions. One child had managed to get away with only one bolt pinning him to a tree. Ankoku came up to the small terrified child and look him in the eyes. The child had tears pouring from his eyes. “Do not worry I will make this quick and then you shall rejoin the rest of your family and friends.” He changed the bow into a pair of spiked gloves and smashed the Childs head in. Suddenly a surge of power came over Ankokus body as he took in the souls and spiritual power the villagers had. While this was happening a group of ominous crimson colored clouds came over head and thunder boomed throughout the area. Ankoku raised his hands in the air and screamed “Ankoku is back and all shall know!” *
Chapter Two: An Enemies Ally
Several days have gone by now and Ankoku has not seen or even sensed another being come close to him. He was lying sprawled out on a tree branch waiting for something to come out to find him. He was sitting with a constant search for any spiritual power that was on the move. Then suddenly the radar picked up on a spiritual being that was coming like a bullet at him. “Well this is interesting. I hope this ends up lasting more than a few seconds.” Ankoku leapt up onto his feet and took out his sword standing at ready. When all of a sudden from behind him a huge red colored fanged beast swung its huge claws down onto him throwing him into the ground. Where he had fallen the impact made a crater. Dust filled the air and covered Ankokus opponent from his view, when the dust had subsided in front of him appeared a giant red colored beast. The monster had huge thick claws that looked as if they could rip a tree from the ground roots and all, and his fangs were long and extremely sharp looking and looked dim from all the drool that was running from them. “Who the * do you think you are?” Ankoku asked pointing the sword at him.“I am Vale a demon lord. I am here to kill Ankoku and become the greatest demon to ever live.”“Well to bad that’s not going to happen. I am Ankoku and I will destroy you here and now.” The beast leapt towards Ankoku after he was done and attempted to smash him. Both Vales claws dug into the ground pushing up dirt everywhere. He took a step back from the hole he had made and waited to see if he had killed Ankoku. When the dust settled he looked down to see that nothing was there.“You’re really quiet slow aren’t you? I was able to see every movement you made. You are way too slow to even put a scratch on me.” Ankoku was sitting on the branch he was in when Vale had first attacked him.Vale turned around and looked up at Ankoku and leapt down to the ground “How can that be we are at the same exact level of power.”“That may be true but there’s one thing I have that you don’t, and that is experience.” He pointed the blade at Vale and spoke loudly “Extend” the blade’s length grew at an extremely fast rate and impaled Vales chest, then the blades width grew cutting the body into two halves. Blood sprayed everywhere while the body wriggled on the ground, the nerves still living for the moment. Ankoku felt a large increase in his power as he took in the soul of the demon lord. He turned around and faced a tree pointing his sword that was now back to normal “Who is there, if you do not show yourself then you will suffer the same fate as this demon lord.” Out came a being that stood at a sturdy size of five foot seven. He stood from head to toe in ninja garb. His head is covered up completely with a black cloth that exposes his mouth and nostrils. The reason for the covering of his eyes was due to his blindness. He had on a black cloth ninja top that covered his torso and was sleeveless. His arms were exposed and showed his strong body off along with the strange blood tattoos that covered from his forearm to his fingertips, also on his torso was a dual sword sheath that had his swords covered. Each of his blades were similar but had a difference about them that made them special. The blade that was exposed over his right shoulder was a katana that’s hilt was covered by red tape. The blade was made of the most durable titanium alloy that was forged in the hottest flames of the greatest volcano. The blade was strong enough to cut a human torso in half with one lighting quick swipe. The blade has writing on it that shows off its name, the words on it are "Phoenix". The other blade which was exposed over the left shoulder was a broad sword with black tape. This blade was made from the same piece of titanium alloy as the Phoenix but this piece was forged in the fiercest flames of Hel. The blade was full of enough destructive power to destroy a ten foot thick steel wall. The blade also had a name on it; this one’s name was "Hel".* He wears the same material for his bottom as his top; the pants go down to the middle of his shins and are held tight by string. Around his waist was a belt that held onto his other various things such as kunai knives and shuriken, along with other forms of powdered weapons such as poisons, bindings, and explosives. He wore traditional samurai wooden sandals. Under the sandals he wore a pair of black cloth socks. His voice was deep and had no emotion behind it. He had no emotions and no soul, anyone with the slightest ability could sense the darkness about him and the fact that he had no soul.He bowed his head “Lord Ankoku I am not here to fight you, my name is Densetsu and I am here to make you a deal.”“What kind of deal?” Ankoku sheathed the sword.“My master wishes to help you.”“Not interested.” He turned around and began to walk away.“My master name is Lord Konto.”Ankoku stopped and turned around “You mean the apprentice of mine. He is still alive.”“Yes my lord wishes to help you become as powerful as you were once and have you own all the lands once again.”“So what’s the catch, he was always a snake.”“He wishes that you let him rule beside you when you are strong enough to.”“Fine then tell him I will accept his help, but if he crosses me he will get the same thing everyone got when I ruled those many years ago.”“Yes lord Ankoku I will do so. I am going to go tell him now.” Densetsu bowed his head and disappeared back to the demon world. In the realm of demons, which was much like the human realm just full of demons, there was an area known as Belnova. Belnova was a place where only the highest level demons could live at. There was a steep hill that at the top of it rested a huge mansion. Inside the building there were several demons running around taking care of keeping the place looking decent. Densetsu ran into the main corridor and up a flight of stairs and entered a large chamber that looked like a throne room. In the farthest part of the throne room there was a demon sitting on a throne. Densetsu came within several feet of the throne and bowed down on one knee and spoke to the demon. “My Lord Konto I am here with good news.”“So he has agreed to my assistance.” Konto stood up he was a demon that was very well built and stood at nearly six feet. He had black hair that was medium length and spiked straight up. He had on a headband that covered his right eye and a sleeve that covered his mouth. He wore a black t-shirt on underneath a green sleeveless jacket. The jacket had 6 pockets 3 on each side of the zipper. They held many useful items for his work. On his back he had a sheathed katana sword. The hilt was of standard make and had blue tape covering it. He had on a pair of black long pants that form *ed to his body. He had several tattoos on both his wrists. He had on a belt that held a few weapons like kunai and shuriken. He also wore around both his shins a bag that had more shuriken and kunai. He wore basic leather shoes. His voice was deep and gave off the strange feeling of an extremely dark and demonic aura.“Yes my lord he has agreed. However he is onto your plan from the very start.”“Do you honestly think he knows that my true intentions are for him to do all the work I would have to do for me? Even if he knows then I will have to play up my role more.”“My lord I find this idea to be a bad one. I sensed the amount of power he grew from only taking in a weak soul. His power will only grow exponentially as he takes in the souls of the hero’s who are trying to stop us.”“I do not fear Ankoku. I am at least as strong as he was before he was sealed away. If worse come to worse then I will just kill him before he finishes the job. Now take this scroll and give it to Ankoku it has the name and a description of the first hero he is to fight.”Densetsu grabbed the scroll and looked at Konto “Yes my lord I will leave right away.” Densetsu turned and left for Megami village.
Chapter 3: The First Name***********
Back in Megami village night had fallen when Densetsu had arrived. He handed Ankoku the scroll.“What is this?” Ankoku asked.“This is a scroll containing information on your first prey.”Ankoku opened the scroll and it read: “Densu age forty, height roughly 6’6. He has no hair, blue eyes, and wears a black bear skin vest and shorts. He is a huge mountain of man that somehow manages to move very swiftly. His weapon of choice is a large twin sided axe that’s steel purifies evil spirits. He is a well known hero from the Land of Nataro.” He closes the scroll “So where is Nataro.”Densetsu points to the east “It is about twelve miles due east. If you leave now you should make it by sun rise.”“Then I guess I should pay this Densu a visit.” Ankoku took off and was out of sight in the blink of an eye.Ankoku arrived at Nataro village just before sunrise as Densetsu said he would. Nataro village was unlike Megami village, Nataro was a large village full of people. There was a giant archway that was the entrance to the village. At the entrance there was a street full of vendors selling many and various items, right past that street was a large grouping of very well built homes that stood next to each other. Then at the end of those homes was a large alter where a single giant man stood watching over the village. Ankoku was perched on a tall tree watching as people went on with their normal every day activities. He leapt down to the ground and walked toward the village. He took out the blade and changed it into a * sword and started for the archway, when a person spotted him. He changed the blade from a sword into a dirk got behind the person who saw him a slit their throat. He took the body and tossed it into the woods. He changed it back into a sword and walked through the archway. He came upon several of the merchants and shoppers and began to slay them. When he had made enough of an uproar at the merchant street he went onto the homes and began to destroy them by changing the blade into a pair of spiked gloves and punching through the walls. He would enter the homes and destroying the people who were trapped inside. Densu heard the screaming and came running, when he arrived at the scene Ankoku had a huge part of a house in his hands. Ankoku turned and greeted Densu with a devilish smirk on his lips “Hello Hero of Nataro. I am Ankoku. I am here to kill you.” He took the chunk of rubble he had in his hands and threw it at Densu. Densu put up his hands and caught the boulder and then threw it back at Ankoku. Ankoku easily punched through the rock and looked at Densu.“If you leave now I will let you live but if you wish to die then come and fight.” Densu grabbed his axe from h is back and prepared to fight.“I would much rather fight, however not here and not now. You are far too weak for me to even consider killing now.”“You dare to call me weak? I shall kill you here and now.” Densu leapt forward with his axe brandished. He swung down with all his might. Ankoku struck out one gloved hand and stopped the mighty swing from Densu. In disbelief Densu’s eyes widened. There was no way any human or demon that could stop his axe. Ankoku smiled “I told you that you stand no chance against me. Go and become stronger so that you can stand a chance against me.” He grabbed the axe head and tossed it aside throwing Densu into a building. “Once you get stronger come to Megami village, I will be waiting there.” Ankoku finished what he was saying and then disappeared from sight.Densu got up and looked around, a crowd had gathers. Near the front of the pack was a small young boy, the boy came up to him and looked at him. Densu looked down to him and spoke softly “Is he the one who destroyed your village Kokoro?”The young child looked up to Densu and spoke softly “Yes he was the one who killed my family and destroyed my village.”“Then I will do my best to defeat him. Your training here with me is done. You need to go and train with one of the other great warriors.”“Ok. Good luck Densu.”Densu turned and ran into the woods after Ankoku.**
Chapter Four: Quick Bout in the trees***********
Ankoku went about a mile away and sat in a tree in wait for Densu. Densu appeared underneath the tree where Ankoku sat. “You seem quiet weak for being such a legendary hero. You don’t stand a chance in * against me the way you are right now.”“You destroyed Kokoro’s village and killed his family. You are a monster and I will destroy you.” Densu glared at Ankoku with an extreme murderous intent.* He pulled out his mighty battle axe and cut the tree Ankoku was sitting on down. Ankoku rode it till it got close to the ground and then dismounted it safely. He turned around to see Densu upon him swinging his axe. The axe came down and Ankoku grabbed the bare blade with his hand and held it still. Densu struggled trying to use all his might to bring the axe down.Ankoku glared at Densu with a look of pity “You are far too weak to even put a scratch on me.”“I don’t feel the same.” Densu pulled back and began to swing violently.Ankoku started to dodge and side step each and every swing of the axe. Ankoku leapt backwards and stood nearly five feet away from Densu. “I will give you one shot. You don’t have to worry about me blocking or anything. I suggest you give this opportunity the most strength you have because I will be giving you a shot back if you don’t beat me.”Densu grabbed his axe tightly and ran towards Ankoku. He pulled the blade back and swung with all his being. The blade flew forward and connected with Ankoku. Ankoku moved sideways as the blade hit him, he looked up and smiled at Densu. He changed the blade into a pair of gauntlets and smashed Densu in the sternum throwing him back into several trees breaking them until he hit one and stopped hitting the ground in a slump.“I told you you’re not strong enough. You’ll never be strong enough. You would have to train for a1000 years before you could hurt me, and that weapon of yours is in no way able to touch me.” Where Densu had attacked Ankoku there was nothing not even a slight scratch.* Ankoku dusted himself off and then turned and walked towards Megami village. As he walked off he told Densu one last thing “I will be waiting for you at Megami, come if you think you can defeat me.” He vanished from sight as he walked into the darkness of the trees cover.Densu had all his strength flooding from him as he fell unconscious, when suddenly a bright light appeared to him. The light spoke to him “If you are to fulfill your role in this world then you must go to Hatri Mountain and train till you can strike the demon Ankoku down.” The light began to fade as Densu came to wake. Densu awoke to the bright light of the morning sun. He rose up feeling defeated but he knew in his heart what he had to do. He started on his way through the forest to find this mountain that the spirit spoke of.**
Chapter five Preparation***********
Densu wondered the forest for several days searching for the training grounds he was told of in his dream. Densu stumbled through a patch of bushes when he tripped and fell down. He fell down and when he looked up he came upon a tall mountain where a strange statue stood. Densu stood up and looked around; he walked towards the statue looking around when a voice came to him.*“You who has a destiny that must be fulfilled.”Densu looked around till he saw the statue turning towards him “You who whishes to become strong must climb this mountain and pray for help. If your heart is true the path to inner strength will come.”The statue turned back to where it was originally facing. Densu knew what he had to do. He began to walk up the start of the mountain. After about several miles of rather easy climbing the true test came. The mountain went from near slant to straight up. After he had climbed another eight or so miles he started to notice that something was amiss, there were strange clouds circling the top of the mountain, and as he got closer he could hear strange wailing coming from the clouds. When he got to the top he looked around and finally was able to figure out what he was seeing, they were the souls of the dead. The statue that was at the bottom was now facing him and spoke to him again “Now is the time that you should pray for salvation.” Densu kneeled down and began to pray as hard as he could. Then suddenly before him a portal opened. The portal was a large black sphere in which smoke and screaming wails came out of. The statue spoke to him again “If you desire strength then put your life on the line. If you pass this trail your inner strength shall be awakened, however if you fail you will die and be sentenced to be here for eternity.”Densu turned from the statue and looked at the portal. He thought to himself for a moment and then step forward into it. As he walked through it a light enveloped him and he was transported to another plane of existence, where time moves much slower. Inside this place there were spirits circling the small platform of stone he stood upon. A spirit came to him and spoke “Ye of hero’s blood, do ye wish to become strong?”* “Of course I do”“What is the purpose for thy will to become stronger?”“I wish to protect the ones I love.”
“Then ye may train here. In this place times moves slower then normal. Ye shall train here for one week and learn to summon thy elemental weapon. If ye do not do this within one week thy shall be too late.”The spirit floated back to the others circling as a different one came and touched the platform. The spirit began to take shape. It turned into a Viking warrior. The warrior grabbed its battle axe and charged at Densu.*********** On the way back to Megami village Ankoku was intercepted by Densetsu.Densetsu stood in front of Ankoku and spoke to him “Sir I saw your battle with Densu, why didn’t you kill him.”“I want a filling tasty soul instead of a weak mortal. There is no reason in killing him if I can’t gain some form of power from him.”“What will you do in the mean time while he trains to fight you?”“Possibly destroy another village or two or I might just sit around and wait.”“I shall go and tell lord Konto of what you’re planning.”“Don’t you dare tell him anything. If you do then I shall kill you when I see you next.”“Yes lord Ankoku I shall do as you say. I will leave for Belnova and tell him nothing.” Densetsu left for Belnova. After he was far away Ankoku thought to himself “Now Konto shall begin to suspect that something is wrong with Densetsu and I can go about without him truly knowing anything.” Ankoku headed towards a village to go and slaughter all who lived there.*********** Kokoro was on his way to Hakudo village to meet the hero’s of that village. He had traveled for several hours and was nearing the half way point when a bolt of lightning came down right in front of his feet. The bolt disappeared and what was left on the ground was a strange glowing orb. Kokoro picked it up and looked at it. The glow faded and it just looked like a piece of stone. He put it into his pack and kept on walking.*********** Densu was becoming tired. The spirit spoke to him again “Are you still willing to keep on going, even though you are getting closer and closer to death?”“I haven’t gotten any stronger and if I leave I will just die anyway.”Another spirit warrior came after Densu and he kept on fighting.*********** Ankoku had had his fill of souls and was setting up traps for Densu when he arrived. He had gone to the lay line of the forest around Megami village and set up arrows to spring on his command. When he was all done he just sat in the middle of the burned village and waited.*********** Densetsu stood before Konto in Belnova castle.“Densetsu what is Ankoku planning to do next?”“Lord Konto, Lord Ankoku has told me nothing.”Enraged by what he is told “What are you saying! That arrogant * always tells someone what his plans are! Now tell me what he is planning!”“Lord I am sorry but he truly did not tell me anything.”“Fine! Go and watch over that fool Ankoku.”Densu bowed “Yes my lord.” Densu then left to head for Megami village.*********** Suddenly from the top of the mountain where Densu had gone to out he came from the portal. His powers were fully unlocked and he had become ten times at least stronger.* He jumped off the mountain and landed running towards Megami village. The final battle between Ankoku and Densu was about to occur.
Chapter Six: Night Time Accident*************** In the trees Densetsu sat watching making sure to keep from being seen or sensed by anyone. He watched as Densu came rushing into the open where Ankoku was standing.“Ankoku, I Densu of Nataro village, shall on this night have my fill of your blood.”“I doubt you’ll even be able to get one scratch on me.” Ankoku laughed then stopped. He could see the reflection on Densu’s axe blade; he looked up and then suddenly froze in place. Up in the sky was a full moon. Ankoku grabbed his head and began to shake and scream “No, No, No, No, No, No!” Ankoku kept shaking till he fell to the ground. Densu was thinking that something must be up.Inside the mind of Ankoku there was a second voice talking to him “where is my mom and dad?”The voice got louder and louder. Ankoku thought to himself “so he finally wakes up. Boy this man in front of us killed your mother and father. Kill him and avenge the deaths of your family.”Ankoku’s body got up but now a different voice came out “I am Hiroki and you killed my mother and father and now I will kill you.” Hiroki took out the sword and rushed at Densu. Densu not knowing what was going on tried to block the blade. The two edges collided and Densu was being pushed back. Densu then pushed back into Hiroki and then kicked his legs knocking him down to the ground. Hiroki looked up at Densu from the ground. He changed the sword into a spear and shot it at Densu. Densu spun to the left to dodge the spear but was grazed in his ribs. While he spun to get away he swung his axe and cut into Hiroki’s ribs. Hiroki rolled on the ground from the attack and landed at the lay lines of the trees. Hiroki got up holding his hand over where he was hit, blood pouring out. Ankoku inside Hiroki’s mind told him “If you can last till the sun rises in one hour you can win.” Hiroki nodded and started into the forest. Densu pursued him into the woods. Densu waved his axe in front of himself and strong tsunami level waves poured out from the axe blade. The waves crushed trees and took up large portions of earth as it thundered towards Hiroki. Hiroki did all he could to dodge the waves by moving as fast as he could with the gaping wound he had. He changed the spear into a bow and when he could shot off arrows at Densu. The arrows came right up to Densu’s face and were stopped by the axes water ability to make a wall of water. Densu continued his barrage on Hiroki while stopping arrows in between each wave of water. The two did this for quiet a long time till the sun began to rise. Power began to shift from Hiroki back to Ankoku. “I am finally back.” Ankoku ran back to Megami village and stood in the center.Densu followed him and stood a short distance from him. “Have you given up?”“I would never give up.”Densu took up his axe and rushed Ankoku. Ankoku smiled and waited till he was only several feet from him and held his hand out and closed his fist. Densu took three more steps and stopped dead. He looked down at his stomach and saw ten arrows protruding from him.“This is the end Densu. You fought well.” Ankoku released his fist and hundreds of arrows turned Densu into a pincushion. Ankoku walked up to a barely breathing Densu and changed the bow into a sword “Game over.” Ankoku plunged the sword from the top of his head down his neck and into his chest cavity. Ankoku gained a power boost from taking in Densu’s soul. Ankoku stumbled to a tree and sat down against it his wound bleeding out. Densetsu came to Ankokus side “Lord Ankoku! What should I do?” “Wrap my wound up and leave me be.”Densetsu wrapped his wound and watched as Ankoku warped a orb around himself. When it was securely around him he fell unconscious.
