Chapter Seven: A new Evil is born

**************** Densetsu left Ankoku to go back to Belnova. Ankoku was having a flash back dream. He was in a small village during the warring states age. He was in a small house where a small young man sat across from a young woman. The young man spoke “So what are we going to do today mom.”“Well I have to go and tend to the fields while your father and the other men are out fighting in the war. You will be staying here.“”But mom I want to help out.”“Dear it’s to dangerous for someone as small as you to go outside. The sounds of battle have been coming closer and closer these last few days and war could break out here at any time. I don’t want you getting hurt.”“But mom.”“No Hiroki. I want you to stay here and if fighting breaks out for you to hide in the house.”Hiroki looked down and frowned “Okay mom I will.”The young woman left the house to go out and work with the other women. Ankoku looked around “I remember this. This is the day I became Ankoku.”The day went by and night came bringing a full moon with it. Hiroki was lying down in his room when suddenly he heard the sounds of clashing steel and screams. He got up and rushed out the door to see that people were being killed and the village was on fire. He started to look around to see if he could find his mother. He started to walk around looking for her dodging horse bound warriors and walking over the bodies of the dead. He thought about his father and started to panic. He then started to run thinking that his father and mother could be dead. He raced to the fields to see a man being circled by two samurai on horses. The man was trying to protect a woman. He moved closer then his eyes widened. The man and woman were his parents. The two looked over and the woman screamed. Hiroki screamed “Mother! Father!”The man looked to Hiroki “Hiroki get out of here!”As he turned to yell at Hiroki the two samurai cut into the two killing them instantly. Hiroki ran over to the two bodies that were only moments ago alive. He fell to his knees and started to cry, tears spraying from his eyes. He leaned over his parents bodies and was covered in blood. *He looked up blood covering his face as he looked upon the two samurai who killed his only family. He picked up his fathers sword that was still in his grasp. Hiroki stood up lightly holding onto his father’s sword. The sword shook in his hands as fear took over his body. The two men took a step closer to Hiroki. The one man raised his sword up and just as he was about to kill Hiroki the man’s head was tore clean off; blood sprayed everywhere layering onto Hiroki’s face. The other samurai turned and screamed. He fell to the ground and tried to scoot away when he was impaled by spikes. Hiroki was fear stricken and couldn’t move or speak. In front of Hiroki was a massive black demonic spirit. In its right hand were the severed head of the first samurai and the internal organs of the other. The spirit took the head and put it in its mouth and crunched down on the flesh and bone. Then it took the internal organs and swallowed them whole. Blood was now pouring down the demons face and onto its body. The demons looked at the trembling Hiroki and came face to face with him.The demon then spoke to Hiroki “Do you wish to have the power to kill those who wish to harm you?”Hiroki was so struck with fear he still couldn’t do anything.The demon asked again blood pouring from his teeth “I asked you, do you wish to have power? I have the power but can’t be in this world unless there is war happening. Give me your body in return for my power.”Hiroki was just able to nod yes.“Then I will become one with you.” The demon and Hiroki started to morph together becoming one soul. Hiroki started to scream from the pain of the joining. When the two became one a bright light flashed and a huge wave of power busted out from where they were destroying the village. Out of the light and wave came a new being, one of pure evil. The beings name would come to be Ankoku or being of darkness.Ankoku watched as the events unfolded “This is the day I came to be. This is also why I have the weakness of the full moon. That kids fear and anger on the full moon causes me to loose control of my body during a full moon.”The flash back ended and Ankoku came back to consciousness. He saw Densetsu standing over him giving him medical attention. “How long was I out for Densetsu?”“You were out for nearly a year. However not much has happened in the year while you were out. No one has come to gain any real power. While you were gone I had gone to Lord Konto and found out about the next target, or rather targets. They are the twins of Hakudo Ginta and Banta.”“Is there anything special about these two?”“Ginta and Banta are twins. They have a great bond with each other that transfers into battle. Ginta is a duel blade user and has a great command over the element of fire. Banta is a superb archer and master of the wind element. The two are expertly trained and know how to work together perfectly.” Ankoku got up and took out his weapon and changed it into an axe. He swung it and a burst of water came out. He was able to now use the same element as Densu. “Well then I guess I shall go and gauge these twos abilities.” Ankoku then started off to the south towards Hakudo village.

Chapter Eight: Hakudo Village

*Hakudo village was large and surrounded by mountains and full of people who were in the streets. There were people selling and buying wares all over. Children were running around playing in the dirt streets. It was a peaceful village thanks to the two guardian hero’s Ginta and Banta. In a large room in the back of the village Ginta, Banta, and Kokoro all sat down after they had finished a training regiment. Ginta was around five foot eight inches and wore a crimson red kimono. Sheathed on both sides of his west were twin katanas. He had short red hair that was spiked up. He was known as Ginta of the Flame. Banta was about the same height as his twin brother. He wore a similar kimono like Ginta but his was pure white. Strapped to his back were a long bow and a pair of arrows. One of the arrows had a black shaft with some inscriptions on it, while the other had a white shaft with some more inscriptions. Banta was known as the master of projectiles. Kokoro was sitting down with the two. They had just recently come in after a training session. Banta looked to Kokoro “Kokoro this is the last day of your training. You have done quiet well, also that strange item you showed us. It has something strange about it. I don’t think it will be dangerous to you, it may even be helpful to you.”Ginta looked to Banta “You sure about that. All it looked like to me was a shinny rock. You’re sure that it could be something more.”Banta shook his head at his brother “You really need to work on your sensory skills. If you had better skills then you would be able to sense what I do.”Suddenly a man came running into the room. “Sir’s this came for you two just moments ago.” The man handed the Banta and he opened it.The note read: “Come to the highest mountain. I will be waiting for you there. If you do not come then I will destroy your entire village.” Banta looked to Ginta “This was written by someone who apparently has some potentially dangerous power.”“How can you tell Banta?”“I hate having to explain things twice. I can sense things very clearly, that and I have been getting the feeling of extremely great power levels near here for a little while now.”“Do you truly think this person or thing could really become a problem?”Kokoro then piped in “If it’s who I think it is then you two have a problem. It could be the same person who killed my last master Densu.”“Something seems a miss. This sort of power could never have beaten Densu.” Banta thought aloud.Ginta pounded his fists together “Well then lets go and make sure that this thing gets beaten while its weak.”Banta looked over to Kokoro “Kokoro its time for you to leave. I fear that we have nothing more to teach you. Be safe on your journey to the next great hero.”Kokoro bowed, picked up his things, and left the village. The twins picked up there things and started to hike towards the mountain.

Chapter Nine: Fighting Farce

**************** Ankoku watched as everything unfolded from the top of the highest mountain. He had been radiating out aura so that at least one of them would pick up on it “Now all I need to do is wait.”The two arrived several hours later at the top of the mountain. They looked around when suddenly Ankoku appeared out from the other side of the mountain “It took you two long enough, I’ve been waiting.”Ginta shouted at Ankoku “Who are you?”Ankoku laughed “My name is Ankoku. I am the darkness of this world.”Banta calmly spoke back to Ankoku “I do not care who you are, but if you wish to destroy our home then you must kill us first.” He then grabbed his bow and pulled back his string. A arrow of wind formed in between his finger and the bow. Ginta unsheathed both of his katana and got into his battle stance.Ankoku smirked “That’s what I was planning all along.” He pulled out his sword and changed it into a bow. He pulled the strong back and quickly released five bolts aimed for Ginta’s head. The bolts sped towards Ginta’s head when a burst of wind grabbed the bolts and held onto them. The wind stopped and the bolts fell to the ground near the twin’s feet. “So that’s your ability Banta. That must be the reason why they call you a master of projectiles. There is no reason to use this anymore then.” He changed the bow into a sword “No reason to use a bow if no projectile can hit you. Your souls will taste so delicious when I kill you and then take your power.”Fire started to rage within Ginta “You’ll never defeat us.” He pulled back his katana and thrust them towards Ankoku firing flames at him.Ankoku swung his sword releasing a wave of water “Messily fire won’t even touch me.” The water stopped the fire shots, however the fire had hit the bolts that Ankoku had launched and ignited them. The twins looked down to see the burning bolts and tried to get away. However it was far to late, the bolts made a huge explosion. The twins were sent flying down the mountain side along with a large chunk of the mountain itself. Banta used the wind to push the rocks that were falling against the mountain while Ginta used his fire to melt down the rock and force it to stick against the mountain. Ginta continued to fall till a huge updraft caught him. The draft carried Ginta upward towards the top of the mountain. Banta floated down to his brother’s side “Are you ok Ginta” *“Yea I’m fine, thanks for the save. This guys something ain’t he. I think we need to really try a lot harder.”The two started to rise up when Ankoku peered over the side. He changed the sword into a bow again and started to launch off bolt after bolt. As the bolts flew towards the twins Banta used the wind to deflect them. The two eventually made it to the top and Ginta jumped off the updraft. He started to come down with his katana on fire. He swung down aiming to kill Ankoku by taking his head. Ankoku dodged left and then kicked Ginta in the chest with his left leg sending him flying into the air once again. Ankoku then leaped into the air and got above Ginta. Ginta turned and looked to just barely see Ankoku swing his arm downward breaking several of his ribs and sending him downward towards the mountain top. “Now die you worm.”Ginta sped towards the earth when he was stopped by his brother again.“You are such a nescience Banta.”Banta went to his brothers aid “Brother are you okay.”“I will be fine; I may have broken a rib.”“Ginta we need to use the fire tornado technique.”Ginta smirked “Fine by me.”Ginta stood up next to his brother. Banta started to create a vortex of wind around Ginta. The wind lifted Ginta up and he then held out his katana and started to pour flames into the vortex. Ginta leapt out of the fiery vortex and landed near his brother. The two together yelled out “Fire Tornado.” The vortex turned and started to turn black from the flames. Ankoku put his hands up and tried to make a wall of water but it didn’t help. The fiery vortex went right threw the wall of water and started to burn and tear apart Ankoku’s flesh. Ankoku screamed in pain and agony. The body took a few steps forward then fell down onto his face. The twins sighed in relief and limped towards the carcass. Ginta was about to touch it when it dissolved and turned into water. The two were stunned to see they were fighting just a cloned body. From the forestry came a arrow that buzzed by the two. On the arrow was a note. *Ginta grabbed the note and the bolt melted away. A voice sprang from where the arrow had “I’ll be waiting so don’t keep me waiting.”Ginta opened the note and read it. It read: “Megami Village.” Ginta crumbled the note and threw it down.Banta looked to Ginta “We need to unlock the forbidden technique if we are going to come anywhere near beating this guy.”Ginta angered “But Banta if we do that we may die. Is it really needed for us to go that full out?”Banta shook his head “Yes it is. If we didn’t go full forced locked up like we did just now we wouldn’t have even been able to beat his clone. This being is far more powerful then we thought.”Ginta kicked a rock down the mountain “Fine then. We should go and read the forbidden scroll to unlock our full potential.”The two headed down the mountain and back into the village.

Chapter Ten: Extreme Battle ***************

Ankoku was back in Megami village thinking of a plan for when the twins arrived. He eventually came to a great idea. He thrust his hands into the earth and poured into it massive amounts of dark energy. The energy started to manifest in the ground around the entire outlaying parts of the village. Dust clouded the entire area and when it settled Ankoku was raised in the air standing atop a large maze. He leapt inside of the closing maze and created a sign for the two explaining what they would have to do to find him.* ***************

The two twins were racing through the forest in their ceremonial robes. The robes were full length robes each with their elemental color. Banta wore a light blue robe that held a patch with wind in kanji over his right breast while Ginta had a dark red robe that held a patch with the kanji for fire on it also over his right breast. Both of them had both arms fully wrapped up tightly concealing something. The two arrived at the maze and stood there looking up and down at it. Banta took a few steps forward and saw the sign “Ginta over here I think he left something for us.” Ginta walked over “What is it?”“I think its instructions.” He started to read it “Take this path to receive death. If you wish to find me, then find my center and ready for a fight. There are traps and tricks riddling this entire area.”“I guess we have no choice let’s go.”“Right lets go.” The pair ran into the opening of the maze. As they did the entrance closed off taking with it all light. When it was fully closed the walls lit up showing them what ways they could go. As they went along they ran into many water clones that possessed very little power and were rather easily defeated. Ankoku watched as the pair made there way threw the maze “Something’s changed hasn’t it? Ill need to see what has changed.”The two kept moving till they came to a large opening in the maze. It was a round arena type room. The two stood on one side while on the exact other side came out a single clone. Ginta took a few steps forward “Ill handle this one Banta. “ He then took a few more steps when suddenly a wall separated the twins. Ginta looked back unable to see his brother anymore “What’s going on?” A voice came over into the arena “I just want to make sure you don’t have any help this time. Just watch out I made sure this ones much more able then the other ones were.”Banta was on the other side of the wall but was still able to see due to the way the wall was made “Be careful out there Ginta.”The clone rushed at Ginta with a sword in its hand. Ginta pull out his blades and did the same. The clone pulled its blade over its head and swung down full force trying to split Ginta in half. Ginta put his blades up and held the clone up and then pushed him back “These things are stronger, guess ill have to put a little something into this.” The clone rushed at Ginta again. This time when it swung at him Ginta used one blade to deflect the blade upward while swinging the other one imbued with flames across its chest. The clone fell back several feet holding its chest which was open. Thinking the clone would soon die he turned away and started to go back to the wall where his brother should be at when Ankoku’s voice could be heard “No, no, no don’t think its over yet.”Ginta turned around again to see the clone had healed itself and was standing there as if nothing had happened. “If you want to defeat it you’ll have to destroy its entire body in one shot.”

“Fine then ill make sure it never comes back and then ill make sure you don’t.” He unwrapped his right arm exposing a black dragon tattoo.Banta watched his eyes getting large “No you can’t use that now, its your ace in the hole.”Ankoku heard this and was excited to see what his great ability was.A fiery aura began to surround Ginta as he held tightly onto his arm where the tattoo was. He then screamed “God of fire Hanzo!” The room burst into black flames hiding both fighters from view. When the flames eventually burned away the wall that separated the two went away. Banta raced into the room to get his brother. Ginta was slumped over huffing for air and the clone was no where to be seen.Ankoku was laughing at the sight he had just witnessed. “This will be fun.”“Are you ok Ginta?” Banta was holding his brother up.‘Ill be fine. Just give me a moment.”However before he could get the time to recuperate fully spikes started to shoot forth from the walls. Banta created a barrier of wind to protect the two from the spikes. “Ginta we don’t have any time to waste we have to get out of here.”Ginta got up and the two ran out of the room. They ran down a hallway where the floors started to give out and the sides of the walls started to close half way. Banta of course being more able to move was ahead to set off more of the traps so that Ginta could have more time to get past them. The two dodged the walls and got past the floor. Banta made it to another arena type room when the wall closed off again separating Ginta from helping his brother. *Banta stood there looking at the other side of the room where another clone stood at. Ankoku spoke to Banta “Just like before if you want to win you’ll have to destroy its entre body in one shot.”“Fine then.” Banta took out his bow and shot off several arrows. The clone took out its sword and easily deflected the arrows. The clone looked to go after Banta but he had vanished from where he was at. Banta had put air underneath his feet to move at a high speed and get behind the clone in an instant. He wrapped the clone in high temperature air and started to crush it pulling the air in tighter around it. The wind pulled in tighter spinning faster and faster till the clone evaporated into nothing. The wall that was blocking Ginta went away and the two were reunited once again.Banta patted his brother on the back “That’s a good job you did; thankfully you didn’t have to go as far as I did.”Ankoku watched and listened “So he can do something more still. Ill have to be careful with these two.”The two started off again and eventually came to a room that was different then the last two. It was at least three times larger and much brighter in the middle of the room stood Ankoku. His blood lust when he saw them was at its peak.Banta look to his brother “This is the real deal. He’s hundreds of times stronger then both of those clones we fought together. He’s even emanating a lust for blood that’s so strong I think I can see it.”“It doesn’t matter brother, we have to defeat him.”Ankoku stood there looking at them he was wearing a pair of gauntlets with a short blade in the center sticking outward that had blades coming from around it. “Do you two really think you have a chance in * of defeating me, your just foolish children?” He then went into his fighting stance and started to pump out his aura. The two could feel that they were done for if they made any mistakes or went for this alone. If they didn’t work as a perfect team they would be killed nearly instantly. The two looked at each other then nodded and started to run towards Ankoku. Banta fired over five arrows at Ankoku and he easily deflected them “FOOL!” He returned fire with several bullets of hard water fired at Banta. Banta shot down all the bullets but one which collided with his chest sending him flying into the wall. Ankoku looked at Banta laughing. During this Ginta was coming up on him from behind. While Banta was firing off the arrows he was using his air to help move Ginta around behind Ankoku. With both sword out and burning he leapt into the air and was about to come down and sever both Ankokus arms, when Ankoku put his arms back in a X and held both of Ginta’s blades up. He Pulsed his aura pushing Ginta back up into the air slightly then mule kicked him back. Banta skidded back slightly and then ran over to his brother.Ankoku watched and laughed while the two were in pain. “Is this all the better you can do? I thought you would at least put up a fight?”Ginta picked his brother up who was now laying on the floor “Brother are you ok?” Banta coughed up some blood “I think he broke a few of my ribs. It’s now or never Ginta we have to use the secret technique.”“Ok brother.” He picked up his brother and the two stood side by side. They then at the same time yelled out “Art of Combination!” A great light appeared as the two slid together. The light blinded Ankoku and he was forced to turn away. Once it had died away he turned back to see a completely new being standing there. The being was one of pure flame and air. The mixture burned the air around it as you could see flames twisting with the air. *
