Final Fantasy: Origins!

Before anything else happens: This is NOT a knock-off or anything off of hypertdog's Final Fantasy XIV RP, this is not exactly an original idea concerning the locations and classes, but this will later have original plot points.



Details of the RP's plot can be read at my blog, so please read the latest blog entry and post back here if interested.











Now the Application form:

Acceptable starting classes:










-Warrior:

Evolves into a Knight (More powerful, melee only type of Warrior), Paladin (uses white magic along with being more powerful and can use light-based melee attacks), Dark Knight (same as Paladin, except uses only black magic and dark attacks), Dragoon (Powerful melee-based class; has the ability to jump into the air and come down a turn later to deal powerful damage), and Mystic Knight (can use magic of spells just cast to gain the ability of it for a few seconds, for example, a Fire spell is cast and the blade can then light on fire).










-Monk:

Evolves into Black Belt (more powerful form, still only uses fists or Nunchaku), Samurai (Kinda obvious here, but has the ability to draw out the spirit in their sword, don't ask, I read it on the Final Fantasy wikia), and Berserker (uses Axes or Hammers to mow down foes)









-White Mage:

Evolves into White Wizard (has access to the most powerful white magic spells), Time Mage (uses Green magic such as Protect, Shell, and Wall and Time Magic, like Haste and Slow; can still use the same type of magic before evolving), White Summoner (Summoner who has a specialty for White Magic; has the option to use more types of weapons, but only one), Scholar (a more powerful mage that can use White and Black magic), and Mime (copies foes attacks and can then attack back with them; this class can use more weapons).










-Black Mage:


Evolves into Black Wizard, Time Mage, Black Summoner, Scholar, and Geomancer (uses the surroundings to cast powerful spells, for example if you are in a forest you can attack with vines or even the trees themselves).









-Thief:

Evolves into Ninja (has the option to use ninja weapons such as kunai and shuriken along with katanas, and can use Ninjutsu spells; I'll post a list and their abilities later), Beastmaster (can control and maybe even capture and train monsters to fight alongside them), Hunter (uses bows to snipe down foes, they can also use "buff" abilities to raise stats temporarily such as accuracy), and Gamblers (uses slot attacks to gain bonuses, or even damage foes and maybe themselves sometime; this is just here for fun, even as a double-edged sword).









-Red Mage:

Evolves into Red Wizard, Blue Mage (uses blue magic to gain enemy special abilities and attacks), and Bard (uses song and dance to weaken the enemy party or strengthen your allies in combat).

Weapon: Long sword, with a golden cross-guard and a sapphire in the pommel.

Personality: Is normally a happy and optimistic guy, but gets extremely serious when faced with powerful opposition (Think Goku from DBZ)

Fighting Style: Normally uses both hands on his sword from maximum strength when swinging. He normally stays back a little and waits for foes to blindly charge in to maximize his chance to counter and gain the upper hand in a fight.

Age: 20

Height: 5 feet, 11 inches

Weight: about 165 pounds. (appropriate 20-year-old weight?)

Posture: Straight-backed.

Type of Warrior: Warrior of Light

Also, I will have a voting to see which Final Fanatasy world this takes place in (1-4)





EDIT: The first ten people who sign up including myself have the option to become either a Warrior of Light or a Warrior of Darkness, there can only be five of each. But I am not limiting this RP to ten people, you can just be a normal adventurer, freelancer, or even allign yourselves with either side if you choose to.

If you are a warrior and become either a Paladin or Dark Knight it is possible to switch between the two, but only three times per day (in real life). Also whichever one you choose is the one which gets the more spells and you are more proficient in it's abilities. Each skills and spells are NOT interchangable in the classes meaning no white spells as a Dark Knight.

That's fine, take as long as you need to. Just make sure you mention whether you want to be a Warrior of Light or Darkness, we need at least all if not most of those positions filled before we start.
