I wouldn't be suprised if they skipped the fillers and released them straight to dvd as "lost episodes" or something in order to keep ratings and such up.
Plus considering that the manga is skipping to part 2 in January their's no reason that they couldn't bring the game out mid to fall 2008.
After all they won't skip Ultimate Ninja 3 which will probally* be early 2008
Yeah, I kind of thought that. I think they should release UN3 in like September though. Either that, or skip it for Accel and release that in like March.
I think Narutimate Accel is definitely fun in the sense that you can use the characters in the Shippuuden arc, however, I think the game lacks replay value. Overall, it didnt take much to finish the game. I finished Narutimate Accel with all the extras*in a shorter amount of time than it took to complete UN2.
*But if you cant wait to use the new characters, like me, you should definitely give this game a try if you can get your hands on it.

The only problem I can see with brining out UN3 in September is that they probally don't want to release UN3 too close to UN2.* Doing that would reduce the sales of UN2 and piss off alot of people who would have skipped UN2 if they had know they could have waited like an extra 2 months to buy a superior version.
<>At least if they release it in early 2008 they'll have maxed out the holiday sales for UN2 and at the same time given people enough time to get their money's worth of the of it before they have to upgrade.*
Narutimate Hero 3 should not be skipped because Narutimate Accel barely covers the Retrieve Sasuke arc in one of its modes. Plus, Narutimate Hero 3 has features that aren't included in Narutimate Accel, so that's good.
