Watching the trailer for this game and seeing the cover art both Japanese and North American something funny struck me. Out of all the characters you can choose to play as so far only one of them Sakura is a girl.
<> What the heck why is this game so gender unbalanced?* Were are all the Kunoichi that the Naruto series is famous for?* Hinata, Tenten, Ino, Temari are all missing while their male counterparts are present and accounted for. <>*
<>Doesn’t it seem a bit sexist to anyone else to throw in ALL the male members of the Sand crew, Team Gai and Team 10 but none of the female members of those groups?
<> <> The only male characters who seem to be missing are Kiba and Shino and yet the girls have nobody but the token Sakura who seems like she was thrown in so people wouldn’t complain that their where no girls in the game at all. <>*
<>Ok so Ino probally wouldn’t bring much to the game, the other Kunoichi rock in a fight far more then Sakura did at the time. Theirs Tenten with her countless projectiles, Temari with her big fan and gusts of wind and Hinata with her graceful variant of the gentle palm style.
<> <> I know that this is a game primarily aimed at young man but admit it that it’d be fun to play as the girl characters as well. Plus having more of them ups the potential to bring more of the female fan base to the game. <>*
<>It’s too late to fix it for Uzumaki Chronicles 2. The games already pretty much coded and finished expect for any lingering translation and localization issues. But come on try and do a better job next time for UZ3!
i dont get it, sakura in my opinion isn't even the strongest out of the kunoichi? temari could blow her away, sakura could beat ino, tenten can slice her to bits and hinata can use her gentle fist technique to take her out, so why sakura??

It does seem a little odd that most of the characters are guys.
Well maybe if we stopped calling people sexist, we could take a step back and see why this is the way it is.* Just a show of hands, who here actually watches the show?* You can count the number of Konoha Kunoichi who aren't Jonin on one hand.* Even with Anko, Kurenai, Shizune and Tsunade, you still only have 8.* Let's add Temari and Tayuya (who won't ever make a character roster for a game like this due to her short anime appearance) and we have 10.* Rin, Hanabi, Moegi, Shikamaru's mother, etc... bring that total up a little more, but basically, let's face it, kunoichi are rare, and there are so many popular male characters in this show.* Our lead is male, our lesser leaders and significant secondaries are mostly male (with Sakura and Hinata being the exceptions), from there we add the lesser secondaries (Ino first, than Tsunade, Tenten, Temari, Kurenai, Anko in that order) and then the rest of the tershirary characters and what do we have?* A flood of males and a handful of females.* Then let's take in demographics for the show, mostly male.* Sakura is the one added to the roster because of these factors.* Like we saw with Ultimate Ninja and Clash of Ninja.* First female to make the cut is Sakura due to he role on Team 7.* Then we have Hinata coming in second due to her romantic connection to Naruto.* The rest slowly follow suit, as listed above in that order.
Keep the woman power to a minimum.* No one here is sexist, this is just how it turns out when you add up all the factors.* Wait for the next game, maybe then you will have your favourite kunoichi making the cut.
