Role Play Thread Rules

Role Play threads seem to be a trend here at Hokage's Room, and we encourage you to enjoy yourselves with it. However there are some guidelines for these "RPs".

The person who creates a role play thread is the leader.

The RP Leader has the ultimate say as to what actions are permissible (for example if someone were to "cheat" in a role played fight, the RP leader can undo that "cheat").

The RP Leader may also "kick" someone out of the thread who continually violates the rules of that RP and intentionally tries to derail or distract the other members contributing to the overall Role Play story (this is part of the no harassment policy)


The reason for RP Leaders is to prevent people from trying to ruin the role play. RP Leaders help to keep things going well, and since many moderators cannot go into every single RP and make sure everyone is following the rules the RP leaders can alert the moderators if there is a problem that needs to be taken care of. If an RP leader chooses to abandon an RP they should pass leadership on to someone else, or ask a moderator to pass the leadership on for them. If no one takes leadership then a moderator should be informed to lock the topic.

This discussion area, just like all of the discussion areas are governed by the overall Terms of Use. This means:

• No profanity (cussing is not allowed on this website, even if you censor it out yourself).
• No sexual scenarios (this is sexual harassment and is not permitted).
• No Harassment (RP battles are one thing, but if you are "ganging up" on one person to try and make them leave the RP it is not okay).

Any posts that violate the Terms of Use will be deleted on sight as per the orders issued by The_Hokage.

Geez, Finally someone put this up! No I'm kidding. But I think a good thing to add for those people who want to learn to Role Play is and Instruction like manual for them. Like probably some of the more experienced RPers and a few others put in some of the most important things or Role Playing or how to Roleplay. or Possibly something like a Roleplay academy thing (I borrowed the Idea form Pokedox.com, Its not mine!) where these 'Insructors' teach Newer people to Role play... That is Just a random suggestion... Just entirely random. But Finally something like this was made!!! Huh, now to making a sub board on her for Role plays... Hehe!

We don't make a separate discussion area here for them because they aren't special. *Many members liked to disregard the rules of the community because they thought of RPs as having been "special" threads which could bend the rules. *This is not the case, so they don't need a separate category area either.

yea but since they are stories and you cant keep us form writing our opinions we should be able to say whatever we want
