He's ok but he's not all that good.

He is rather impressive when we look at him from Naruto's point of view, but the instant you compare him to other Jounin, or even Hokage level opponents, he is rather lame.* The guy gets lucky because Orochimaru got cocky, and he thinks he is special.* Then you see him crapping himself infront of Jiraiya, and shaking in his boots when Guy roundhouse kicks Kisame (ala Chuck Norris if I might add), so his cool exterior fades fast.* While an interesting characetr, he seems defined solely by his Sharingan since it is the first one the audience sees that has achieve a level above Kakashi's.* Now that Madara (Tobi) has shown up, he doesn't seem that impressive anymore you know.

In the game he is pretty cool to use, but I prefer using Guy.
