No, it's not improved. *It's stripped down, there are a lot of features missing - and they added one feature for playing online. *Real Tekken fans prefer the PS2 version because of all the other stuff that's there, the only reason they get the version in the PSN is for online mode (and it isn't even all that popular to go online with Tekken).
