Ultimate Ninja Storm takes the familiar 2D gameplay of the previous games in the Ultimate Ninja fighting series, but adds a new free-roaming 3D element that sets you loose to explore a fully-recreated Leaf village as seen in the brilliant Shonen Jump anime and manga series.

The game will feature 25 playable characters and over 100 missions to complete, and downloadable content is expected post release. Although there's no mention of online play, which is a bit shabby in this day and age.

The 100 missions this game will be included in the storyline. The storyline is from the introduction arc, to the sasuke retrevial arc. This game's storyline will be 3D and like Naruto: Rise of a Ninja for the Xbox360. You can now experience the full storyline of the Naruto Series. In this game, the storyline will also have a feature that lets you travel the whole hidden leaf village including the hidden leaf forest, the memorial, the hotsprings, and the hokage faces.

For the first time in the series, this game will have preliminary chunin exams stage (where naruto and kiba fight in the anime). Also in this game, you can fight on walls (when you hit your opponent towards the wall, they will land on the and you will instantly be transfered there too.) When you are on the wall, if you lose all your chakra or get hit too hard, you will fall of the wall. This game has very anime like features.

This game is releasing on October 14, 2008. It will be avalible in stores on October 15, 2008. People have been waiting for this game for a long time, and I am sure the game will be sold out soon. I*suggest that if you have an EB Games, or GameStop near you, please reserve the game. Or, you can order online.

IB4L? lolz anywyz, yeah kinda old, but still good to read it over =P lol and thanks to this month's shonen jump issue we have more news on the game. that being something i'll say when i'm on my laptop =\ too difficult to type on my ps3 browser lol
