Well, tbh, i'ld bet a lot of money saying this game ( at least the first) will never get online play, even through DLC.... I'm sure it takes too much work, I mean have compared online-playable games to this? u have to be able to get a delay in, so everyone sees the same thing at the same time, like the global cooldown in WoW, or the time of a bullet traveling in a Online shooter, and or the time between attacks in fighting games, but this game was made not to go online, they didn't implement those delays because they wanted a fluent, fastpaced game, that would work perfectly, but they just had to cut out online playing for that...
and that my friend is what you call lag i experience it on every game and lag sucks but still im betting it wouldnt be too hard to implament it..i mean alot of games have online now adays
But games online are slower, they always are... And i prefer a better offline game then a slower online 1 tbh...
I'll guarantee u even that this game at this time can not be played online without MASSIVE lag issues.... And well noone wants to play a laggy game right ?

actually halo 3 doesnt slow down at all unless you get like max people in a room then its somwhat slower, in most games if everyone has sweet connection i dont notice any difference
Because... Developers implement there own 'lag', like when u shoot, it takes 2-3 (mili)seconds to hit ur opponent, that time is used to check the actions of him to see if he were to get hit, and then show u wether or not he did get hit....
With shooters it's easy , they 've been doing it for so many years... With fighting games, it's more difficult, because* both players need to see the exact same thing, at the exact same time, so what they do is... RThey make the combos so between every hit they have the time to respond, and even the hits themselves are made slower ( lik u see in Broken Bonds) and that's simply the price to pay for online gaming, and it's a price i'm not willing to pay ....
i dont want to imagine lag in a game like storm. I mean if you throw shuriken at some body and you dont actually see it hit the person after you throw would * me off and the additional hit system would be a nightmare.

actually in mortal kombat i would get my face punched inside out because people would do alot of combos to me, there wasnt any slowing down in mortal kombat you went fast and the faster you were the more chance of winning
Well, ofcourse , ur not supposed to see it But play MK again, and check the speed between*2 kicks or punches, then do a 2hit combo with Naruto, and watch the speed at wich the 2 follow each other, it's clear that in MK he's like... after he kicks, he puts his foot down before he does the next punch... that's the time i'm talking about... In naruto, his entire body is moving during the time u press ur next button, and he stops only if u press nothing, but if u do, he continues with the way his body is standing, making it much faster... I can't explain it better srry, but I saw, from the very first trailer, this game is just too fast ( to play it online)

Yeah that's true. support characters isn't really an option, support and mission is included for sure because the creator* said it already. Well who know maybe they will if they feel like adding some more.
