Kat had been playing for the past two hours. "Finally! I've got the recording!" She cheered to herself. She started putting her bassoon away She had to record a solo for the Symphony Orchestra here. She was hoping to make it in there so she could pay for college. She had a partial scholarship but she would still be in debt with her bits of lessons. "Hum... I think I should go randomly bang on the drums... yeaaaah"*
With that, Kat got up, stored her bassoon in her locker and ran to a practice room where the professors let her store her drums. The were close to the english wing so she might disturb some poetry students. 'I can't believe poetry is a CLASS!'
Eros secretly ditched out and walked up silently behind Kat and tapped her on the shoulder "Ha planning on messing with the poetry peeps? Well I'm one of them people, and poetry should sooo be a class, because with out poetry, we wouldn't have lyrics to our songs now would we....dude-"
All Students please leave your classes and head to the auditorium at this moment for there is a meeting for everyone. Thank you.
Ivana heard the message and she sighed "Thank god I'm out of this class, Ivana needs her fresh hair anyways." She gets up "Ladies, lets go." She and her posse walk out.
"The auditorium nah not for me" Jay said to himself and he walked off campus and to the mall "Dude i gotta hit up on so fresh sneaks man these ones are getting old" Jay said to the store clerk
"We don't need poetry for music. Ever heard of classical? or jazz?" Kat laughed at the fool, taking out a pair of brushes. The brushes weren't like the stuff people brush their hair with but they were used on a drum set, mainly in jazz/big band. "Because jazz and classical and big band are the shiznit." She whipped up a decent beat and started sing a little clarinet solo with it.
Eros backfired "Yeah, but poetry doesn't always include lyrics, it can include nature, nature is poetry, and it can even include just humming, and humming leads to sound, which leads to beats, which leads to what classical and jazz makes up. So without poetry, there's no flow in music and It would just be bang bang and a mess." he examined her clatinet solo "See that clarinet solo? That was so peaceful, I would consider that as great poetry."
ALL students please attend now. If you don't, the teachers will stalk you and make sure that you do. Thank you.
"Ight i will take these red and black ones" Jay said "Well ok then the" The clerk said "That will be one hundred twenty-five dollars" "Really now" Jay said as he was paying Then Jay walked out of the mall "Man who is around here that i can hang with" Jay said to himself "Wonder if Kat is around here somewhere" Jay thought
"Whatever man. You never said that previously so, I was only to assume you meant words and such. You really should be specific." Kat yawned snached her solo from the boy. "I have to practice it for my jazz ensemble. Benny Goodman's music has a lot of clarinet stuff. I'm the only one can play it... and then I have to play in another ensemble with my set."
"Hah I see, well I'm gonna go to the auditorium or whatever or else Ivana will like strangle me or something...the teachers probably will too.. you should come with." he said walking away
