Yes but for first ps3 game it takes alot to make online severs for billions of people to enjoy. They would take alot of ideals to come up with online game playing. If you think about it only like 25 ninjas or so and billions of people.... You know... Easy said then done.

I agree with the people who think it's still worth getting. I mean, the Ultimate Ninja series did just fine without it, and it might be downloadable (characters HAVE to be downloadable I hope), it's the start of a new series, the story and game modes are gonna be awesome, and if you have super-skilled friends like mine then you'll NEVER get bored! So yeah, I'm still getting it, and if I ever get a single scratch (big or small) on the disc I'll die!
