I got UN4 yesterday, and I was SSSOOOOOOO UNBELIEVABLY HAPPY! I was playing it this morning and got to the bit in Master Mode where Guy's Team fights Kisame and after Tenten's fight it freezes on the loading screen! I turn off the game, turn it back on and get to tenten'd fight again and make it through Guy's second fight with Kisame, and it freezes on the loading screen AGAIN! I barely had it a day and I was VERY MAD AND WORRIED. I turned it off for good and looked at the disc and there were no scratches ANYWHERE!!!! NOT EVEN A SPECK OF DUST!!!! Does anyone know what's going on?!!!! I don't wanna stop playing this awesome game or find out that UN4 might be broken already!!!! HEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPP!!!!
I don't know what's going on with your game, but you might be able to call the store where you bought it at and tell them your situation. Just to tell you, that happened to me but I turned the game off and the proplem fixed itself. So*Also keep in mind you might have a defective game. If you go back to the place where you bought it and tell them the situation with your game they should let you exchange it for a new one.

On the PS3, I experience loading screen freezes after the PS3 heats up (been on for a few hours). *Turn it off for 30 minutes and then try again.
thanks both of you. I called Game Stop and if Tiger turns out top be wrong in my case (NOT LIKELY to be wrong) then I'm gonna go exchange, but tiger's probably right. I was playing for about 3 hours before it froze. The only wierd thing is that I was playing for about 6.5 hours yesterday and it never gave me trouble. But it's probably because I played it for a long time twice in a row. Thanks again, you two!

PS2 games have to load variables into memory, the longer you play - the more stuff you do. *The more stuff you do, the more gets put into memory. *The more memory that gets used, the more heated the memory gets. *In the PS3, if a component gets too hot it is turned off (so the part doesn't break). *Turning off the memory, will freeze the game.
It might be the game disc you can exchange it back to the store to an identical one if you still have the receipt, or maybe it's your game system. If you're game system freezes too often*its because it can't read it/anymore, either it has dusts inside or the lense is broken. :/
