same thing happened to me but it was after Naruto vs Itachi. What I did was turn off my game and let it cool down*for about 5 hours. at least i know that im not the only one that had that freezing problem. *

Are you using ps3 to play it?

I just spoke with a tec from Sony and he says that if you have a ps3 60gig NU4 plays fine no freezes But if you have a ps3 80gig it does*not have backwards compatibility... so i asked will the fix be in the frimware update 2.70 (thats comming this week) he said "i am sure that it wont because the game came out last week and they been working on the update for some time now, your best bet is the next update which can be between 2 to 4 months" i was like OMFG!!!!! he aslo said if enough people call sony about this, it might speed up the process.... i dont even know what do now : ( i just want to play NU4....

I got Naruto UN4*today I was so happy but when I put cd in , it says Please insert a playstation cd or playstation 2 cd*,, I say to myself ,, it is playstation 2 cd* , stupid console* ,, I was like what is going on ... it is bloody Playstation 2 cd* now I am very angry , I was looking forward to play game

That is either a problem with the disc or with the PS2. Do your other games still work? If so, then you should exchange your copy.

You're from the United Kingdom. *Which means your PS3 is most likely a European PS3. *PS3s are not region locked for PS3 games, but they ARE region locked for PS2 and PS1 games. *Which means since Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 4 has not been released in the UK yet, you can't play it on your PS3. *This isn't strange behavior at all. *You need to wait for the European release.

I have Playstation 2 not Playstation 3 ,, but I realize that game wasn't PAL version ,* I only saw Playaystation 2 on cover anyway game was released yesterday on UK Amazon for UK Playstation 2 consoles
