its not to JUST test out the new engine...but it could make them some nice money...people wanting it for their games...ect..they also are using storm to see how well a naruto game would go on the ps3..and sense they are making a* shippuuden game for the ps3..they might as well throw out their new engine..and see how stuff goes first

seriously ur kidding right? u got it from a 'reliable' source that they made this game as a test?? they've worked on that new engine for 2 years... this is more than JUST a test i think..... And saying there's not gonna be a Storm 2, well that's just depressing for us all

On ther other hand, a new instalment, with an all new engine, is always just a test... If people respond well, it gets improved, and the next game rocks even harder,if people don't respond well,it's money in the trash and*2years of work for nothing.... So i guess that's a test? but a hard 1 if u fail tho

*but that doesn't mean this game wasn't made with a sole purpose to make money tho

well, your right...the new engine is more of a advrotisement, the real test is the whole entire game...will it be good, will the engine please people, can we make it work, how well will the end, ect.

and the reason I say all of this is because namcobandai is making a new shippuuden game for the ps3, so storm would be a good chance to see what fans like/dislike, what worked and what didnt
