LIEZ. *The Playstation 2 is a region-locked system. *You can't play Japanese games on a US PS2. *The PS3s are region-locked for the PS2 games too. *So unless you've got a Japanese PS2 or a Japanese PS3 - there's NO WAY you could have played this game before.

@Sorafan91 - You didn't read my previous message, did you? The one where I explained why they wouldn't drop the show if they get a bunch of letters explaining the boycott.

That's great and all, but WHEN are they going to show the actual dub?! Cartoon Network is taking it's sweet time with the crappy "Action Flicks" and all we see is 1-2 episodes each month. What's the point of having a dubbed game if there isn't an actual dubbed anime that isn't released yet?!

I have no problems with subbed anime and all that, but I think its about time Cartoon Network and Viz show Naruto: Shippuden or else i will throw things...

I wish Cartoon Network would stop treating anime like crap! D:

We are on episode 209 or 210 or something like that...the shippuden doesnt start till 220 or 221...i do agree with you though...they need to hurry up with this stuff...i think there should be a nothing but anime channel

Not cool, man. *If you like it with the japanese voice overs and subtitles that's fine - but do NOT critisize the people who don't like that. *Like, for example, me. *I have a reading disability, there's a problem with the connection from my eyes to my brain that makes it very difficult to read quickly. *To watch anything with english subtitles, I have to continually pause it - and then start it up again. *You can't do this with most video games.

Besides, they'll probably do what they did with Ultimate Ninja 3, where they had both language options available.

And to call Americans lazy? I mean, hey maybe we are.. Heck, lots of Americans are, but because of a dub? And plus, how does that make us lazy? I mean, you're entitled to your opinion, but come on.

EXACTLY! And hey, I like the Japanese voices too and don't give a crap if I gotta read subtitles, but there are REASONS why I prefer English: 1) the acting is AWESOME 2) I can FULLY enjoy watching the scene instead of paying the subtitles partial attention 3) it's obviously in a language I can immediately understand. And saying Americans are lazy is stereotypical. I am FAR from lazy.

Re: For those who don't know It's DUBBED

Actually it's even harder to play Japanese games on European PS2s.

See, back before HDTVs came out there was a different screen refresh rate for TVs in US/Japan and TVs in Europe. In the US and Japan, the screens refreshed at a rate of 29.97 frames per second, this became known as the NTSC standard. *In Europe, the TVs refreshed at a rate of 26 frames per second, known as the PAL standard.

PS2 games are hardcoded with these refresh rates. Unless you have a US TV, you *cannot* play a Japanese game with your TV (it would flash and flicker - literally you wouldn't be able to see anything).

If you are able to play it on a European PS2 and a European TV, then your game is a total fake - not the real game.

Yeah can we get proof? Just asking. Also Tiger is right you have to have a Japanese PS2 to play a Japanese game or buy a program I think to play the game.
