New Adventures Await Ninja Fans as NARUTO Title Readies for Launch



SANTA CLARA, Calif., (August 6, 2007) – Leading video games publisher and developer NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. announced today that everyone’s favorite fearless ninja has received gold status with NARUTO™: Uzumaki Chronicles™ 2. Available exclusively for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, NARUTO: Uzumaki Chronicles 2 far exceeds its action adventure predecessor by boasting more than 10 playable characters, two player co-op and versus battles, new challenging missions, and cel-shaded graphics. Based on the hit anime series SHONEN JUMP™ NARUTO™, from VIZ Media, NARUTO: Uzumaki Chronicles 2 will be available in retail stores on September 4 and carry a “T” rating for teen audiences by the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board).


In NARUTO: Uzumaki Chronicles 2, an ancient organization which was long thought disbanded is alive and well and in search of several orbs to resurrect a mechanical horror that will ravage the land. It’s now up to Naruto and all the Hidden Leaf Genin to join forces with those of the Hidden Sand Village to stop this menace.
