i havent been paying much attention to all the hype for this game but i just checked out the official site and all this game is the same as the first japanese one called narutimate portable its got the exact same characters exact same moves and even the same story weve been ripped off japan got the good version while we got number one and now the second one which is very similar to the first it has 3 extra characters and about 4 characters have different moves i got the japanese game ages ago and id advise anyone on here to do the same sure it in japanese but so what i personnaly only gt it as i wanted to pla against my friends and since its been out for ages it would be cheaper than buying this one ive gota say im dissapointed in that. oh and also what took them so long like i said this has been out in japan for just over a year so its took them an entire year to simply dub a game wtf? thats really bad work

edit: sorry i just keep realising more bad work since ive already covered its the EXACT same as the original japanese game id like to point out that in over a year namco have ONLY dubbed the game it has the same* story modes the same characters i think if they want people to by this they could have atleast made it so that when naruto and sasuke do their secret jutss they stay transformed instead of reverting back to normal weak selves instantly

i know what you mean but a lot of people dont feel like importing the game. I've played the japanese version too, but i lost some of the experience seeing as i didnt know the story. I'd gladly go back through it again just to learn the story

Um... *Dude... *That's how the gaming industry works. *A lot of companies are based in Japan (for example, Nintendo). *And a lot of games come out in Japan first, and then come out in the US (for example, pokemon). *Guess what, the only thing they really do to these games is translate them. *It's not shocking.


Namco/Bandai is one of these Japan based companies. *If you want to get US made games go to Ubisoft and beg for another crummy Naruto game.*

i know companies do that but i was expecting atleast some small chanegxs like i stated being able to stay in naruto or sasukes transformed state or having different mode does any1 know if tis ones gonna have gameshare?

they really wouldnt need to cahnge the game. the fact is that those who purchase the game are the ones who never played the japanese version. Why would they need to make a minimal change if us most here in the US havent played it yet anyways. This would just cost the companies more that they dont really have to use

I, for one, do not want games to see extra "special" changes from one region to another, because it's unfair to the fans. *Like Eternal Sonata's release on PS3 in Japan. *The US won't get a PS3 release (at least it's not announced yet). *They're giving special things to the game though, like some non-playable characters are going to be playable. *They're also going to give a different costume to one of the characters. *This is TOTALLY not fair for us in the US.

i just think its dumb is all since i nw knw its the exact same id just tell my firend to get the japan version you can get it cheap from some sites and it will b even cheaper now since its been out 4 ages
