Chapter 1: Universal Legends

Can evil be reborn? That is the main question you must ask yourself before destroying it. The answer to that question is yes. This story takes place ten years after the greatest evil that ever lived was defeated. It appeared now that Cierro was gone, nobody evil lived in the world. However you can't say that about the non-living. Walking down the streets of the Hidden Flame Village was Kouen Zolo, heading towards his favorite place in the Land of Fire, Ikomatsu's Ramen Shop. With his hands in his pocket, he whistled while heading down the almost empty road. It was extremely early in the morning and hardly anyone was awake. "Hmmm." He enjoyed the silence of nobody being there. Soon the whole village would be bursting with people because it was Saturday, the day everyone set up stands and sold things to people walking around for money. "I'm so bored." He said.

A young man was already at the Ikomatsus' ramen shop. He was enjoying a nice, big bowl of spicy ramen.

Hearing a loud bird chirp, Kouen saw something fall from the sky. Staring at it for a second, he ran under it and caught the falling bird. He looked at it closely to notice a wing injured. "You poor thing..."

Out of no where, a kunai pierced it from above*and pinned it to the ground. Genesis walked out from the ramen shop.

Looking at the feet of Genesis, Kouen's eyes shifted upward. "It's you..."

"The one and only Sannin of the Village Hidden in the Flames? If so. Yes. I presume your the son of Mike the Flaming Shinobi?"

"That's me." Kouen said getting up. "I believe you're Genesis Otohime. I heard of you during the war. Although the only time I ever saw you was when we fought off Cierro. You're the guy who took on that other person, correct?"
