The Day of Black Snow 2 --------------------------------------------------
The day black snow trickled from the heavenly skies, I lost my beloved. Her breathtaking tears, flowing down from her eyes, to her neck, tore my heart into pieces. The gentle touch of her soft, warming hands, sent shivers through me, even in the harshest of blizzards. All I had to go on were her final words she whispered out of her cold lips. Before her lively body fell silent, I promised her a feeling. One that may last longer than any lifetime. Something possibly even greater than love...

Somewhere hidden in a snowy, unexplored continent, where you can expect the unexpected, settles a well-developed, classical village named the Village of Black Snow. The Village of Black Snow is home to a united community of people that are known as the Black Snow. They have survived through everything life has thrown at them, and have been at peace for a rather long time. They never had to worry about sudden climate changes, or any kind of random invasion from some other undiscovered civilization, until a certain event in history. About twenty years ago, on one day, a day that seemed to be no different from any other, the comforting, white, serene snow that once descended upon the Village of Black Snow, had actually faded into the dreaded, fearsome color of black.
A random invasion from some other undiscovered civilization is exactly what had happened. It appeared that another society of humans had lived on that same continent throughout the ages, and they were right by the Black Snow's side, both of them unaware of the other. Adjusting to their own customs and ways overtime, when they had finally come to meet each other, it was war. These people weren't the friendly kind. They were colder than any ice, and harsher than any blizzard. They were the Raigon. On the day that we've come to remember as the First Day of Black Snow, they went head-on and planned out a full-course invasion on the Village of Black Snow, announcing war. In the end, they had won. The Village of Black Snow became Raigon property.
Since that day, after mourning the deaths of countless people, the Black Snow seemed to have finally drove them out, by fighting for their freedom. It didn't take long, before the Raigon retreated back to their home. Some believed that it was for good. However, most knew that they would be back. Whether it was because they put too much manpower into the invasion, or they decided to fallback on their own accord, the Black Snow had still defeated the Raigon, and then, the real battle began. This eventually led to the creation of Black Snow Academy, a school that prepares children to join amongst the Black Snow soldiers. After graduating at fourteen, they're officially protectors of the Village of Black Snow, and are sworn to the duty of fighting for what's right.
Across an icy lake that separates the continent into two known pieces, is Nevermore. As the Village of Black Snow is home to the Black Snow, Nevermore is home to the Raigon. Instead of it being some small village, though, it's a huge industrial city. That means that all of the technical advances that the Black Snow couldn't make in the past, the Raigon appeared to have made easily. It was no wonder they won the first round of the war with such little effort. A few other identifying changes in Nevermore's environment also includes a warmer climate, it only snows at night, and it's more mountainous. The war between the Black Snow and the Raigon always consisted of the Raigon coming to them. Due to this, the Black Snow have always had the advantage of fighting on their field. However, the situation has since shifted.
Before the First Day of Black Snow, a man named Zero-Zero started an operation known as Project Infinity. Created to be a way for the Raigon to obtain absolute immortality, Nevermore's government eventually payed-off all expenses on it, and in-return, it would become their new military. With Zero-Zero as the head of Project Infinity, and three other co-leaders simultaneously in-charge, Zero-One, Zero-Two, and Zero-Three, fourteen years after the First Day of Black Snow, they successfully led the Second Day of Black Snow, causing even more damage than the Raigon did on the one prior. It was revealed here that during most of that time, Project Infinity was still incomplete, since Zero-Zero was occupied with ruling over the Village of Black Snow under a hidden identity. Yet, at the conclusion of the battle, the powerful man was brought back to Nevermore without a word in the matter, and the invasion was discontinued.
Six years have passed by since the Second Day of Black Snow. Lance, or, Hope, has reclaimed his family's honor, by taking the position as the new Village Leader, after Zero-Zero was found and extracted from the program. Meanwhile, back in Nevermore, Zero-Zero has rebuilt Project Infinity, and is currently working on finishing its completion. The war has, for the first time ever, actually equaled out, between the two forces. Conflict over ownership of the lake has arisen, the fighting has but only become more intense, and secrets of Project Infinity are unraveling, non-stop. The Black Snow, and even the Raigon, are hoping for the war to meet its climax. And the time is believed to be arriving soon.
Personality: Lance is a man of many personalities. He can be nice to some people, mean to others, but because of Tara, he's been changed, to where he's more nice, than he is mean. He's usually always happy and looking towards the bright side of everything, but when he's put to the test, or trapped in a struggling conflict, he suddenly becomes serious and confident, and shows more of his controllable, mature self. Lastly, he has an almost-abnormal love for his royal white horse, Vanilla, and he tends to have strange, mind-changing stages, when he doesn't receive a serving of something with sugar, at least once a day. This, to him, especially makes Tara seem even more like his perfect partner.
Strength: Lance prefers short-range, hand-to-hand combat. His fighting style is quick and evasive, but he has terrible aim. That doesn't stop him from using weapons, though, because even if he doesn't own one himself, he is skilled in the arts of swordsmanship, and he's fairly strong, despite his appearance. In addition to this, he's a talented leader, so he normally doesn't go physically into the battle, that often. He can also manage a vehicle, and other types of transportation, now.
Information: Lance was born with the loving name, Hope. His family happened to be the most important one living in the Village of Black Snow. That is, until the Raigon attacked. His father ruled fiercely from within the Village Council, and his grandfather was even the Village Leader. It was predicted that when his grandfather had died, his father would have already become a Village Elder, and would then take the position as the new Village Leader. Lance was also supposed to follow this destiny. However, when his mother was violently murdered by Zero-Zero, protecting him on the First Day of Black Snow, his father was thrown into a depression, and that's when he renamed Hope, Lance. Of course, Lance was only just born at the time, though, so he doesn't even remember his mother. Still, things only got worse. Eventually, his grandfather was also killed by Zero-Zero, and his father was recruited into Project Infinity, where he was entitled the first Zero-One, and had his life taken by Melody, who earned the rank of the second Zero-One. This stripped his family of the high social power it once had, and Lance was sent to live with his grandmother, where he was told nothing but lies. Nobody knows of Lance's first name, anymore. It appears to only be the Village Council, the Village Elders, himself, Tara, and Project Infinity, who do. Swearing to avenge his family, and correct what has been made incorrect, Lance decided to join Black Snow Academy later in life, so that he could help fight off the horrible Raigon. Now, he just wants to protect everything that he can, and do it without taking any innocent lives. Currently, after helping rebuild his home after the Second Day of Black Snow, and watching his grandmother pass away, peacefully, he's been engaged to Tara, and reclaimed his family's honor, by ruling as the new Village Leader. So, with Zero-Zero finally out of the Village of Black Snow, he sees this as the time for everybody to evolve, and bring a close to the struggling war between the Black Snow, and the Raigon.
Personality:Tara matured greatly over the years. She no longer has a problem with blushing. She isn't as hyperactive as she knew to be, but still, she has her moments. Theaddiction to candy still stayed, only her pockets aren't full of chocolatebars, lolipops and so on. She is still very kind, generous, sweet and outgoing. She cares for people, likes helping out, and befriends anyone easily.
Strength:Agility.
Weapon: Staffwith a blade at the end
Information:Tara's mother died at birth, leaving her alone with her father. Her father used to be a good man, but once his wife passed away he turned to alcohol. He was rather cruel to Tara from time to time but she still loved him. When he was sane, he would train her, which helped her a lot. He died during the second day of the black snow, leaving Tara with no parents at the age of 15.
In school Tara had many friends. No one would ever guess she had problems with her parent, since she always kept up her positive attitude. Her best friends were Kaji and Lance. She always had a mild crush on Lance, and that crush grew into love over time, especially during the second day of the black snow. Lance and her were the ones to start the whole thing.
Tara and Lance started a relationship towards the end of their journey, and she is still with him, standing side by side while he is leading the village. She loves him very much, since he is the closest thing to her after her father passed away. They also got engaged recently. But... She as well became pregnant, and still keeps it a secret from Lance, not wanting to worry him. She is aware she won't be able to keep it a secret for much longer.
Description:
Name: Veronica
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Personality:Veronica's personality changed a great deal since she left the village. She matured greatly, is no longer anti-social and judgmental. Next to her newly found positive characteristics, she is still very stubborn, persistent and not very kind. She prefers not to show her emotion to everybody and keeps things bottled up till she breaks down. She is still very smart, but is ruthless when it comes to killing the enemy. She can be very sly and easily acts and pretends to fool the enemy.
Strength: Over the six years, she became an excellent gunner, her aim is almost flawless.
Information:Veronica grew up in a wealthy family as the only child. No wonder she was rather spoiled as a teenager. She never really had interest in making friends in school and focused a lot on her grades and studying. Of course she was at the top of the class... almost. There was only one student better-Setsuna. She got involved with Lance and the rest out of pure curiosity. Even though she spent a lot of time, the only person she found interesting was Emile and kept trying to befriend him. He was opposite of everything she was back then. At first she even called him a disgusting beast. Over time she started feeling attracted to him, but tried denying it all of the time. Rather soon after the two of them got together, they went to the final battle, and Emile got taken away during battle. Veronica was crushed. Her parents house was destroyed and she thought they died as well, so she just decided to leave the village. On her way out, she came across Kimiko who was struggling for life and decided she couldn't leave her like that. She took care of her even if she was in a coma, and once she was healed, they still stuck together. The two of them became very close friends despite how much they couldn't stand each other before.
Now, Veronica returned to the village six years later. She thought he was dead...but he wasn't. Once seeing him again, she couldn't help her old feelings and love for him come back, but it doesn't seem to be the same for Emile. Or at least, she can't figure him out. She is determent to make him love her again.
Weapon: She no longer uses a lance, and her favorite weapons are a pair of pistols. But any other sort of firearm works for her.
Looks:
Name: Kimiko
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Personality: Kimiko remained straightforward, loud, stubborn, headstrong, impatient, violent, sometimes careless, like she always was. She has matured over the six years, and since she became rather close to Veronica, she isn't too closed to friendships and such. Like she always, she doesn't let any of her emotions get in the middle of her fighting. Although, she is unable to do that when Nikolai is in question... So her biggest weak point, is Setsuna.
Information: Kimiko's parents were murdered during the first day of black snow, and she got some deep scars from that, still does. She took care of her younger siblings rather well, but did leave them when she turned seventeen, to train under Melody and become her own soldier. In school, she was never liked, possibly out of jealousy, never had any friends besides Nikolai who she met at the age of 14. Her feelings for him started to emerge later on in their friendship, and just as she was starting to be aware of them, Nikolai disappeared due to Melodie's threats. It crushed her a lot, and she lost interest in ever gaining close friendships with anyone, afraid to be hurt. So she went back to focusing all her time and will into training, becoming an incredibly good soldier. Melody corrupted her over the years, and all her human feelings were basically buried deep within. She wasn't even aware she was turning into a human weapon. This changed, once she met the group of Black Snow graduates. Her job was to kill them, but she failed at that, letting just an ounce of her morals get in the way. Melody almost killed her then, and that was when she decided to go against Project Infinity and get revenge. She possibly never regained the trust of some people, like Emile for an example and Lance for a while too. During the second day of the Black Snow, she fought Melody and killed her. As her final act, Melody poisoned her, and Kimiko was sentenced to death. She said her goodbyes to Lance, and headed out of the village with her remaining strength. She was luckily found by Veronica who was leaving the village at the same time. Veronica took care of her while she was in a deep coma for a couple of months. A man named Gio, who is an expert with herbs and things alike, healed her. She wasn't able to fight for a while, but she healed completely after a year. Veronica and her left Gio after that year and took off to their own little journey. As well, Gio developed some feelings for her, but she is completely oblivious to that, and even if she found out, she wouldn't care at all. Veronica and her traveled around for five years, snooping around Nevermore mostly, trying to figure out some plans of Project Infinity, since they were well aware the war wasn't over. The two became quite close friends, despite how much they didn't get along at first. They returned to the village six years later, offering help to Lance who was now village leader.
Strength: As a raigon, she is incredibly strong and quick.
Weapon: A sword, but she mostly uses her claws instead.
Looks:
Name: Gio
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Personality: Rather lazy, sometimes shy, silent, observant. He can be very serious when needed. Cares for people, doesn't matter if it's raigon or human.
Information: Gio's mother had him at the mere age of seventeen, and left him in an orphanage. He got adopted, but never liked his family, besides his 'father'. Though, he died of some illness and that was when Gio decided to leave what he called home, since all his siblings didn't really like him, and his mother never really payed attention to him. He lived near the outskirts of the village in an abandoned house and dedicated all of his time studying to learn more about herbs, and how he can help people by healing them. Downside to that is that he became addicted to weed. Even though he was separated from any population he wasn't very alone. Every now and then, he would find a wounded hunter, or a lost soul, and help them.. Recover them, or lead them back to the village. That was the case with Kimiko. While Veronica was searching for food, he came across her in a pile of leaves where Veronica carelessly left her. At first he thought she was dead but once Veronica returned, she explained what happened and Gio offered help. He successfully got rid of the poison that was killing her on the inside, and Kimiko awoken from her coma, but was unable to fight or anything alike for a few months. Those few months Veronica and her stayed with him in his house. Over the time, he started to grow interest in Kimiko. His feelings were never noticed, and he was aware even if they were, they wouldn't be returned. After around 7 months, Veronica and Kimiko left him, but they would drop by every now and then. Six years later, he found out the two headed back to the village, and decided to go there as well, at least be some more help to anyone.
Weapon: He carries around a pistol just in case, but not a very skilled fighter, nor gunner.
Strength: He is useful when it comes to healing people (with herbs)
Personality: Loves to have fun, but knows when it's time to be serious and thinks through her problems before taking action.
Strength: Hand-to-Hand combat, mostly quick jabs, very nimble
Information: Tanay's parents died shortly after she was recruited into the Black Snow Academy. It's because of this that she keeps her friends close to her. She is very atuned to music. When something is playing she feels the need to stop what she is doing and listen intently.
Personality: He's started to gradually become open to people. Although not much has changed from his younger years.
Strength: Marksman and adaptability. His skill as a pilot are still good.
Weapons: Himself and any other gun he can get his hands on.
Info: Like the others, he has been through a lot. Mostly just a character in the background, he has proven himself to be what they wanted him to be - except with a heart. That was proven when he started to get attracted to Veronica. However, not all went well. Sour feelings for her still exist, such as the way she treats other people. Which makes him sound like a hypocrite.
He has been rotting in a prison, ever since Dynamo took him away. He understood why, although he would have probably killed instead if their positions were reversed.
Pic:
Name: Setsuna
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Personality: Carrying a bi-polar-like personality, Setsuna is more of a calm, sinister scheming kind of guy. He doesn't hesitate or flinch at torture or death.
Strength: Immortality, brilliant mind and all-out great warrior. Also a ace pilot.
Weapons: Himself and whatever weapon he has in his hands. He is able to turn into a metallic slime substance.
Info: Not having a good relationship with his father nor his Brother, he was always distant...literally. He lived in Raigon territory for a few years, eventually meeting Kimiko at some point. They became friends...kinda he thinks. During the battle at the tower, Setsuna, his younger brother, injected him with some serum. Whatever it was infected him and worked its way to his brain, where it ultimately took over Nikolai and strangely, gave him the personality of Setsuna. He attempted to freeze himself or kill himself by freezing, but that failed. Since he returned, now as the new 0-1!

*
Name: Alexandria
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Personality: Strict, violent to her underlings, vengeful. She will beat your head in if you make her miss her target. She is a bit of a stalker, stalking mostly her friends and/or her target. She once stalked a wounded Raigon soldier all the way to Nevermore, where she killed him.
Strength: She knows her way of patching up a wounded body. On top of being beautiful with a sword, she's a dead-shot aim with the right gun.
Weapon: She mostly sticks with her blades. Ranging from short to long to anything between.
Information: She has some history with Emile. Mostly a violent one. Back when they were qualifying, Emile coughed and that made her miss her target during the precision test. Well it didn't end well. In fact, that's what made her not able to join Black Sun. As the years went on, she was spotted for her skills and saw it fit to make her one of the elite two by two men. She recently lost her partner and so now she's out to find a new one.
Unless we can catch all four of us on at the same time, I'm sticking with closing it down. Guess this isn't the kind of role play game people are interested in. I got a sort of Avatar (The Last Airbender) feeling from it, anyway, though. Oh well.
Personality:* Even though she has gotten older with age, her firecracker personality still lives on.* She is still extremely stubborn, hot headed and a bit ill-mannered, especially when it comes to having disputes with the Village leader and one of her best friend Lance. *Though, she does still have that soft spot and* is always extremely reliable; no matter the circumstances. She loves to always have all the information and details at hand before going out and launching an attack, but sometimes her risk-taking side kicks in and she just goes with what her gut is telling her is the right thing to do.
Strength:* She is trained vigorously in all aspects of combat, though she succeeds in others better than some.
Information: *A while back, Kaji had learned the identity of her mother Sango Consuela, and her true Origins.* A couple years had past when she left village to search for her father, each time coming up with nothing. It was as if he had vanished without a trace. When she had come back home she moved into her own apartment and currently lives on her own.* A few years later, Dynamo the head Military Leader retired and gave her his position. This war-head now lives content insides the walls of her home village, Black Snow.
Weapons:* She has traded in her shovel for an equally dreadful Machete. Though, she does* keep her shovel hanging in her home as a type of memory from the 6 years that had past plus, it was her first weapon.*
Description: Kaji has gotten a bit taller over the years almost the same height as her mother had been just a bit shorter. She has also stopped dying her hair so it is the same neon red color that her mother’s had been and she has also let it grow out as well. Sometimes elder’s who knew her mother would sometimes mistake Kaji for Sango, and compliment her on how well she has grown up, and that her mother would be proud.
