The Day of Black Snow 2 (Complete)

The Day of Black Snow"Last day of Black Snow Academy, huh? Tch, more of a military school, rather than an academy." Lance said to himself, closing his locker door as he looked off to his side. All that was there was a long, narrow, empty hallway. But Lance felt something. Something unfamiliar. "...eh, must've been the fish they served at lunch." he told himself, brushing the feeling off as he walked away, holding a few books and other school-related objects.

It was around 2:00 in the afternoon. School was almost over, with only an hour to go, and all that was left was one final training session, and then the graduation ceremony. It was the last day of Black Snow Academy for the graduating class of that year, and soon, all of the students would be completely ready for whatever life may throw at them. Among those students is Lance, who had just finished gathering all of his belongings. Lunch recently ended, and everybody was supposed to go straight to their last training session in the room where they, well, train. Lance, however, went right to his locker to get his stuff, attempting to avoid the big rush he knew would come when that final bell rang. Afterwords, though, he snuck back into the training room, hoping nobody realized he was gone.

One of the two metal doors slowly crept open as a red eye was spotted peeping into a vast room with an uncountable amount of people. "I made it." Lance whispered, gently creaking the door open, sliding his way in. He traveled across the wall, praying nobody saw him while he silently tip-toed behind the teacher. After passing him, Lance whispered to himself again, "Now all I have to do is get back to my spot and-"

"LANCE!" The teacher boomed with loudness.

"Gyaaaaah!" Lance shivered in fear and panic.

Chapter 1: ArroganceLance took a seat on the large, blue mat that basically covered up half of the floor. All of the students were sitting on it as well, all in their spots, lined up, row by row. Lance sat far in the back of the class, squinting up ahead at the desk their teacher was sitting at. All of his stuff was on the teacher's desk, since he was caught, he had to wait to get them back. "Mmmmm..." Lance hummed to himself, angrily. He stared down the teacher, until he unexpectedly stared right back at him. "Gah! Hmph!" making a grumpy face, Lance grunted, quickly looking the other way.

"Alright, class..." the teacher began, standing up from his seat. "I'm just going to get straight to the point, here. I don't care if it's the last day of school, or if any of you are expecting special treatment, but we're going to play everything the same today, so everyone, pick your partners and get to sparring. We don't have much time, since the big man cut down our class for the stupid ceremony."

"Mmm, well said, jerk." Lance quickly muttered to himself, still grumpily looking off into his own direction. Of course, everybody heard, but nobody really said anything. The whole class stood up and started scrambling around, but Lance simply sat on his position on the mat, not bothering to get up or do anything.

Kaji was sitting criss-crossed diagnoly on the blue mat from Lance. She hd seen his little entrance and wonderd how in the world he thought that little plan of his would have worked on their teacher. She slowly rose from where she had been sitting and walked over to the dark-haired boy. "Get up Idiot, your my sparring partner." The Blue haired girl said as she adjusted her weapon attatched to her back.

"Oh, well would you look at that, we have a taker-" Lance was still looking away half the time, but when he got a small glimpse of her, he stopped, instantly. "But... you're a... girl?" he said, lifting his hand up slowly, pointing at her. He then spotted the shovel, and came to realize he was in danger. "I-Is that a-a..." his hand simply dropped. "Yooooou're not going to use that... uh... right?" Lance asked, a small smile cracking at the corner of his mouth as he tried to get on her good side.

Kaji folded her arms. "Duh, Its my weapon of choice, stupid. Why are you gonna chicken out?" She smirked alittle at the thought as she waited for his response.

"No way! I'm not chickening-" Lance just stared at the shovel, rethinking his decision. "-out..." he finished, still staring, blankly. He then shook his head, coming to an excuse. "No way. Not fighting a girl." he said, looking away again. Before she could react to him, he calmly stood up and looked at her. Well, more like looked down at her. It turned out that Lance was almost a half of a foot taller than Kaji. "Oh, no way... you're short, and a girl. Huge disadvantage. Not gonna do it." he told her, not really thinking anymore. All he did was turn around so his back faced her. Then, he folded his arms and closed his eyes. "I'll wait for a real challenge..." he spoke out to Kaji, smiling arrogantly.

".....real challenge?... A REAL CHALLENGE? A REAL FREAKIN CHALLENGE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?" It seemed like h3ll had just broken lose, it felt like it aswell, suddenly it became extremely hot around where the two of them stood. "I'LL SHOW YOU A REAL CHALLENGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Kaji yelled suddenly she was up in the air, and a hard cold piece of metal was coming down on Lance's Head knocking him to the floor.*She restrapped her Shovel in*securely into place*"Humph.*A*real challenge."*The small girl muttered acting as if nothing had happened.

A large crowd had gathered around the two. "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?!" She roared looking at the crowd. Everyone looked away trying to avoid eye contact and dispersed.

Lance, now back on the mat, laid down at Kaji's feat, randomly mumbling some delusional phrases. "Yup... there I go..." he said, his voice slightly cracked. Fortunately, because of his naturally wavy black hair, he didn't feel the full extent of her massively painful shovel. But, it was enough to knock him out his senses. "I-I give up..." he mumbled again, not even able to move.

"Heh, heh, heh... looks like he finally bit off more than he could chew." the teacher muttered to himself, approaching Lance and Kaji with a bucket of water. Smirking, he closed his eyes as he dumped the load onto Lance, practically drowning him in all of the water.

"Gyaaaaah! What the lleh kinda' method of waking up a person is that?!" Lance yelled, jumping up from the mat so fast that it was almost a blur. Since they lived in an arctic environment, the water was freezing cold, able to wake up any sleepy (or delusional) person from their unwary trance.

"And old trick passed down from my family, generation to generation. My father used to use it on me to get me up from my bed, every mornin'. Now get up, and quit gettin' smart with the language. You just got your butt handed to you by 'a girl', so you should get a reality check and take it like 'a man'." The teacher scolded him, walking away with his empty bucket.

"Tch, I am up, you old geezer... and no wonder you're so dumb, your dad must have frost-bitten your butt into the man you are today!" Lance insulted him, rubbing his head in the spot where Kaji hit him. Luckily, the teacher didn't hear him, though. "Ehhh... sorry, Kaji... I'll spar with you. But only if you put down the freakin' shovel of mass destruction."

Kaji folded her arms and walked away not even looking at him anymore.*"Not interested"

"Uh-" Lance's head sulked down as he stared at Kaji with a stupid expression. "You mean to tell me without your shovel you can't even spar?" he said, apparently lowering his tone in fear she'd get mad again. "I can't imagine the lleh she puts her opponents through... wait... I can, actually." Lance muttered, straightening his clothes with his hands. Thanks to the fabric his coat was made of, it absorbed all of the water the teacher poured on him. "Stupid water... stupid girl... stupid... school!" he shouted, looking at everybody, fighting. "At least after today, it's all over..."

"I NEVER SAID THAT." She shouted "I can sparr perfectly fine without my shovel." She lied. "I just don't want to waste my talent on some sexist idiot like you." Kaji clenched her first,closed her eyes, and *counted to ten to try to regain her composure.
