"Maybe I am, but aren't you as well? You shouted at me suddenly with no reason. Also, don't ignore my question..." She folded her arms, looking away from him. "But fine, two can play at the game." She turned around from him and went back into the room waking up Kaji.
"Lovers spat?" Yang spoke up, suddenly relieving himself from around the corner. He stared down at Lance with a smirk. "Idiot.." He commented to himself, yawning. "So Lance, are you skilled in....... anything?"
"We're not lovers... I don't even like her in the slightest." Lance pointed out to Yang, harshly. Then, brushing off his question, he simply walked around, into the kitchen. "So, wonder woman... now that the majority of us have decided on putting ourselves in your care, what do you suppose we do now?" he asked, pulling up a seat at the table and tilting back, easily risking falling backwards.
"Yeah, and I am gay." Yang commented sarcastically before following down after him "I seriously asking you, moron." He said, but was still ignored. "Now? We need to recover and most importantly earn money... as in find jobs." She slid a plate with a sandwich to Lance across the table and took a seat as well. "Most likely we will work in a cafe, or bar." "Good morning" Tami said as she walked into the kitchen. Veronica walked in after her, looking incredibly gloomy. She took a seat next to Lance and just blankly stared ahead. At one moment her head just dropped hitting the table hard.
Feeling rather cautious, Lance glanced at Veronica for a second, at the corner of his eye. Then, he grabbed his plate from the side, and gently pulled Veronica's head up. Sliding the plate under her, he put her head back down, and watched her face unwillingly plunge into the sandwich. "Work for money? You want me to work for the very people I'm here to stop? You must be a light drinker, Kimiko..." he said, followed up by a long yawn.
"That was your food for a while, by the way" Kimiko noted, seeing what he did to Veronica. "Well Lance, you don't expect the three of us to do all the work and feed you four? Hah, we will all need to earn money." Tara was the next one to walk into the kitchen. She woke Kaji up.. or at least Kaji said she will get up soon. She took a seat next to Veronica looking down at her awkwardly. "Now Lance since you seem not to be willing to eat, you will go grocery shopping with me and Yang" Yang was standing by the doorway and he suddenly started faking a headache "Kimi.. I think I am sick, my stomach hurts so badly, could someone go instead of me?" Before Kimiko could shoot him down, Tara volunteered. "Heh." Just an evilish smirk escaped Yang's lips for a couple of moments."Meh, I don't care. Lets just go."
"Grocery shopping? How fun..." Lance said sarcastically, sighing in displeasure. This caused him to tip over and fall back, though. "...I'm okay." he whispered, not getting up for a while. Lance soon sprung back on his feet, straightening his shirt out, while saying, "Fine, let's go." Then, he spun around quickly, and headed for the door.
The three soon left the house. As they walked down the street, Kimiko picked up some unpleasant vibes from both of them and it annoyed her. "What's up with-" Before she finished a brick hit the back of her head making her fall down. It came from an ally they had passed 10 meters back. Soon some sort of gang walked out of it, looking down at Lance and Tara cracking their fists and necks. "Oh fun.." One tall black guy said, walking up from another corner with a small group behind him. They were the same gang, but it seemed they surrounded Kimiko Lance and Tara.
"Huh?" Lance looked at the gang in front of him, then turned his head and saw the one behind them. "Oh..." he whispered, watching them close-in. "...just some Raigon-scum looking to rough someone up." he said, tilting his head back. "Tara? I don't suppose you have your staff with you, right now... do you?" he asked, rubbing his neck with his hand. Lance tried to put on a calm performance, however his heart was actually beating rapidly.
"No I don't..." Tara replied, backing up a little "I didn't think it was needed for grocery shopping." She looked down at Kimiko, and just sighed "Looks like she's out for some time...What do we d-" Suddenly another tall white guy (Happy? xD) crept up behind her and lifted her up with his arms around her waist. "Ether give us all money you have willingly, or we will take it." He said, smiling. "But we don't have any money...!" Tara exclaimed, struggling, but another one approached her and punched her in the stomach rather hard, making her cough up some blood immidiately. "Don't lie" Another small group formed around Lance about to attack.
"Tara!" Lance yelled, about to reach out for her. One of the men held his arm back, though, so that he didn't budge. "Hands off, you filthy Raigon!" Lance roared, turning back and kneeing the man in the gut. It wasn't enough to take him down, though. Lance continued by clasping his hands together and bashing them down on his head, then kicked him back into a few of the others. "Get up, Kimiko!" he bursted, spinning back around to head for Tara. This time, he successfully shoved the man who punched her out of the way, and ended up throwing him right through a glass window. Then, Lance went in to get the guy who was restraining her, but he was instantly overwhelmed by another guy, who had a bat with him. The man easily whacked Lance away, hitting him right in the head. So hard, in fact, that Lance hit the ground, with a loud thud. "Gah!" Holding his head down and trying to stop it from bleeding, Lance was repeatedly kicked around, until he was finally pushed out into the road. Now, a truck was heading his way. "Bastards..." he growled, struggling to stand back up. "...the whole lot of you..." he continued, managing to get back on his feet. "...you're all just a bunch of bastards!" he shouted, dashing out of the road and back into the fight. With one shot, he effortlessly punched out the man holding Tara. Then, as the one with the bat chased after him, he somehow blocked his bat, and forced it back so that it slammed into the guy's face. Before he could waste any time, Lance finally ended with helping Tara up, and actually freeing her for the time-being. Still, he knew it wasn't over, yet. "...you alright?" he asked, leaning against a pole, exhausted.
