The Day of Black Snow 2 (Complete)

Kimiko took a step or two ahead and punched the ground with insane strength, making it crack all the way where it now hid. She bolted at him, taking the sword from the case on her back, and she was about to slice the hand in half, but didn't and just stomped on it, not letting it move at all, maybe even breaking it.

The hand disolved into the slime and slowly began slithering up her entire leg. There was no way of stopping it, there was too must to completely get it off completely. Another part of the slime arose from the ground, slowly taking the form of Nikolai. "Gotcha." He smiled, watching the slime take over her other leg, her waist and then to her neck. "I expect you to escape."

"...You need to come back to your senses!" Kimiko exclaimed before the slime covered her face. It was then when she turned into her hawk form, soared up and all the slime fell off, of course. She flew back, turning into her human form halfway down and landing on top of Nikolai. She held him down with her claws tightly, sinking them in into his flesh very very slowly. "Snap the heck out of it!"

Setsuna's eyes stared up at Kimiko with a grin of pleasure, but that faded as Nikolai's eyes flashed back to normal. "OW! It's me! It's me!" He pleaded, grabbing her claws upon instinct.

Emile coughed a few times, eyes shooting open as he sat up and looked around. "Not another crazy!" He souted, looking around but only saw Veronica near him. "Huh? YOUR SAFE! I guess I never realized it back on the island." He exclaimed, giving her a hug. Mostly it was just because of the moment...but also for the little body heat.

Veronica looked at him, confused on how he didn't notice her, but brushed it off and just smiled, hugging back slowly. "So... cold..." She mumbled, shivering a couple of times, and feeling as if she was frozen to Emile by now.

Kimiko looked down at him with doubt for a couple of seconds, but then quickly took out her claws, but just remained sitting on top of him. "What did he do to you?" She asked harshly, looking down at him with anger, but worry as well.

"You're cold? The person who was rescued is probably the one who was in the water most." Emile mumbled, but just cuddled up to her more. "They're busy over there. So I'm just gonna stick here for a while..."

"Dunno. He just stabbed me in the neck with some syringe and died...I know your're not going to kill me. And I don't want you to either." He chuckled, even he was afraid of death. "But you know I can't stay here...so the sooner you get off of me, the sooner I can get as far away from you people." Nikolai's tone remained the same as ever,*just a little hint of sorrow.

Kimiko stared down at him, not moving an inch "... Go? Where? Back to being on your own...? Tch" She looked away, lowering her head so her bangs would cover her face. "God> him!" She exclaimed suddenly violently punching the ground just inches from Nikolai's face. Her fist started bleeding, it healed, but the blood on it remained. She brought it up to her lips and just licked it off. "I am not moving, you are not leaving, there must be a way and we will figure it out.." Kimiko said in denial

"I doubt I can move, anyway..." Veronica said, closing her eyes and then sneezing very loudly, not lady like at all. "Sorry.." She mumbled through her nose.

"I'm afraid you have no choice. You're not saving a doomed life - your going to save so many people, but there will be loss. Probably more than you gain. But oh-well, it will be small but it will be good." He inhaled slightly, using his hand to reach into his pocket. There he took out a knife -*a familier butter knife. "He's a coward...please, say your goodbyes now. Because I'm gonna go away again." His hand gripped the knife with great force, trying to look at her eyes.

"No worries, a little spit isn't that much compared to blood." Emile chuckled, stealing a glance over at all the others. He knew something was up with Nikolai, and he was afraid it could happen to him.

"You are asking me to let you go, knowing that you will ether kill yourself or kill others..." Kimiko stated, soon standing up and helping him to his feet. She stared back at him, and before anyone could notice her eyes watering up, she took a couple of sudden short steps and hugged Nikolai tightly. "Why did you let him do that to you? You brainless moron, why weren't you more careful... idiot..." She whispered to him, silently sobbing in the middle of her sentences.

"I think your friend is leaving.." Veronica said, observing Nikolai and Kimiko from afar as well. She pulled away from Emile to look at him "Want to go up there?" She asked, tilting her head to the side.

Tara was lying in the snow, slowly coming back to her senses.

Lance's effort to escape payed off when he reached the top of the hill, standing before the Village Council. Only now, however, did he realize that he and the others were still convicted of treason. Not to mention they were probably reported as missing or dead, during the past week-or-so. With Project Infinity on their way, though, he knew he had no choice but to push on. "Yes..." he said, walking forward. "...screw the Village Council. Heck, screw even the Village Elders!"

Sitting on some honorable chair, a man's eyes opened up, revealing two large white pupils.

"I'm going straight in, to see the Village Leader!"
