The Day of Black Snow 2 (Complete)

"Wait!" Tara exclaimed, rushing down the stairs and out the mansion soon after Akira. She walked close by her, looking over Lance. After some silence, the girl spoke "Akira, do you believe there can be peace? Do you believe in the ideal world.. home... family..?" Of course she still had the things Setsuna told her on her mind.

"What-"* Before Veronica would mindlessly run to the cave, Kimiko grabbed her, wrapped her hand around her mouth and pulled her back behind a huge rock. "Be silent, idiot..." She whispered to her, peeking out slowly.

After a little mindless chatter, Setsuna finally ventured into the cave. Dynamo followed a close second. In a minute, he saw Emile chained up. Which made him smirk.

"Eh? Oh no it's the devil! It's the train driver! And he has no shirt on!!" Emile yelled, which made the cave echo and made it clear to hear from the outside.

"...Train driver? And shut up, I'm not here to kill you. I'm here to free you."

"Really? Okay. Love your coat, Setsuna." Emile put on a sly smile, watching Dynamo undo the locks to the door. Then he was unshackled and set free. "I hope I don't burn up when the sun hits me..."

Keeping a steady pace, Akira thought for a moment..her lips curved down to a slight frown at Tara's question.* "Well...I used to.. but after observing how things are the past few years, I began to think otherwise"* she replied fretfully. The girl glanced down at Lance, then to Tara* "Tara...who was that man, exactly?" she asked, concerned for both Tara and Lance.

Once hearing Emile's voice echo out of the cave, Veronica just slid down to the snow, seeming emotionless before just lowering her head and covering her face with her palms. "Oh you are pathetic.." Kimiko whispered back to her rolling her eyes. Kimiko walked out from behind the rock and just leaned on it with her arms folded. She waited till the three walked out. "Well this is interesting. Why did you free him?" Kimiko asked talking to Setsuna.. but glaring at Dynamo.

"He is someone we met 6 years ago, before the second day of the Black Snow. Setsuna...But the figure... or should I say, body, is Nikolai, his brother. It's very complicated, but all in all, Setsuna is the Zero-One now. Meaning the second most powerful Raigon there is." Tara explained. "He wanted to make me 'submit' to him, by offering a peaceful feature..."

"Oh yeah, I guess my father killed your parents. Well this is perfect, everyone can get revenge and supposedly get the peace they want. Ha. As if." Setsuna looked at Kimiko with a smile. "You still owe me a dinner."

"Devil women! Devil women with no shirt just tape!" Emile yelled and pointed, earning him a dull stare from Dynamo. He saw the girl covering her face and blinked. "...I knew Kimichanga liked girls. What else has changed? Tara's pregnant? Lance is the village leader? Veronica is his assistant?" Emile looked at Dynamo. "What? It's possible!"

Akira nodded taking in the information as they arrived at the hospital and walked in. She checked Lance in and he was taken to a room to be treated. Akira and Tara stood just outside of the room.* "Submit to him...?" she frowned looking at Tara* "And how did you reply?"

"I said I don't trust a word that comes out of his mouth..." Tara said, forcing a smile off assurance to Akira. "I'm not stupid, but still some of the things he said did.. shake my up. He also threatened that he will kill everyone I love in front of me. But those are just empty threats."

"Lance is the village leader. And no, this one still belongs to you..." Kimiko replied to Emile, glancing down at Veronica who refused to show her face, or even move. "..." Kimiko clenched her fists once hearing what Setsuna said. "Dynamo..." She tried ignoring Setsuna for now "Why did you lock him up?" She asked through her teeth.

"Belongs to me? Waaait...nah, that's not possible. Veronica has long hair, dark not purple and she would never have waited that long for me. And HE IS!? Where can I enlist for the Raigons!? Screw this place, I wanna live!"

"Heh...you're one of the ones I want to save. So don't say that jokingly." Setsuna smiled.

"No reason. I was just too lazy to take his little girl friend and the others. And you're their daughter, eh? I payed my respects to them, if that was left out. I kill the enemy. That doesn't exactly mean I hate 'em."

"Indeed..."* Akira sighed leaning against the wall with her arms crossed.* "Well whatever the case may be, he's still the enemy..right? So we shouldn't let our guard down whenever he's near.."* she said looking to the ground. After a minute of silence, she looked up to Tara again* "Anyway, you seemed rather unwell...is something the matter?"* Tilting her head, she gave Tara a look both of worry and curiosity.

Veronica, now slightly annoyed, pulled her hands away. She looked up at Emile after hesitating for a while. Her blue eyes were still watery, even though she held her tears back. Slowly, she stood up, dusting herself off from the snow. Her look drifted from Emile to Dynamo "NO REASON!?" She suddenly screamed, bolting past Kimiko, towards Dynamo. But Kimiko grabbed her, restraining her "Calm down Veronica..." "Calm down!? I will not CALM DOWN. You shouldn't be CALM ether, the man killed your parents! Let me go, Kimiko! Let me go!" Veronica protested till Kimiko finally let her go, but just to slap her hard across the face. "I said calm down." She looked at Dynamo and Setsuna, but she just held back all the things she wanted to say. "Emile.. I believe you could use a meal, change of clothes, bath and all that...So let's head back to the village." She said, waiting for his response before she would start walking.
