"Why do you keep blabbering about peace? Don't be stupid, there is no peace, and there will never be peace." She said, utterly pessimistic. "I know you are behind me, so I can allow myself to be at least a little careless." She replied to his comment, while slowly and silently walking down the hallway as her footsteps echoed. There was still no one "Something is fishy..."
"Well, excuse me if I have to think optimistic for the sake of the people! And I won't let someone like you - watch out in front of you -" Vulcan threw his Kalis in front of her, impaling another concealed terroist. "- jepordize how I feel! Maybe you should be a little less pessimistic and start looking things in a different light! Like the guy you barely paid attention enough to, to watch if a terroist was coming up to get the person." He said, pointing behind him, where a terroist was dead lying a little bit farther away from person. "You won't get anywhere with your bossy attitude."
Kimiko was now slightly getting annoyed with him. "Boy, if you had the life I had, you would be pessimistic as well." She said glancing back at him, then simply putting her claws in an x position to block a couple of incoming bullets. She bolted over to the man firing, choking him with one claw. She just let him drop in front of her feet and proceeded walking. "They must be occupied with something so there is so little of them around here..." She thought out loud.
"Too bad I don't. Maybe I'd be as graceful as you've been so far." Vulcan said sarcastically, walking over to her. "Guess they'll just keep coming, huh? Where's that backup you said you were going to have?"
"Hah hah." Kimiko let out another fake laugh, not turning around to him. She looked out of the window briefly then kept on walking "I don't know.... Stupid Veronica. They better come soon. And with the luck I have, she'll come with Emile and Caleb..." She could hear footsteps from behind, quickly turned kicking Vulcan down violently and throwing her sword at the terrorist before he would shoot. She just looked down at Vulcan plainly "Sorry." She said it, but didn't mean it.
"Hahaha, very funny, Kimiko." Vulcan responded,*looking up from where he was sitting. "Considering we don't get along well, I can see that we're probably never going to see each other again. But," He swept Kimiko to her feet and threw his Okatana at the terroist behind her, impaling him instantly. He caught her as she fell and then pushed her to the side, so he could get up. "It'll still be fun to mess with you while I'm still here."
"That's THEIR problem! We weren't trained for hostage situations, we were trained to get blown up and eaten. Go talk to Alexandria, her people can help." Emile said lazily. throwing the gun and unknowing to Caleb, hit him in the back of the head.
"What the-!? WHAT IF THAT WENT OFF!?!?" He rubbed the back of his head and pulled out his hidden combat knife. "Emile is busy. Please come back another time..." He growled, stalking over toward him.
Kimiko just smirked a bit, standing up herself "Nah. I believe once getting involved with our little group, you won't get out that easily." She said, almost evilly, but didn't mean for it to seem that way. "You are annoying with your optimism, but not too bad." She said dusting herself off.
Veronica stared at them annoyed for a couple of seconds before barging in "BOTH OF YOU, OUT, NOW, TO THE HOSPITAL" She shouted, wincing in pain afterward. "Seriously..." She mumbled, lowering her head a little and rubbing her wound.
"What makes you so sure?" Vulcan asked, laughing heartily. "I have better things to do than hang around with a bunch dysfunctional people like yourself. And if they're anything like you, then yes, they're completely dysfunctional. Now, is that all the terroists? Or do I have to show you up even more than before?"
"I don't bother with terrorists. Not my area of expertise, since they frown upon entrence with guns ablazing." Emile walked over and picked up the gun he threw and gave it back to her, smirking in her face, "You gotta stop being so serious. And stop butting into affairs you nor I are HARDLY prepared for. Get the wagon warmed up Caleb, we're heading to the fight!" Rudely pushing Veronica out of the way, Caleb growled and slid the knife back into the sheath and followed Emile out. "You realize we don't have a car, right? Yes. But unlike you, I'm not restricted like you*my bepedal friend!" Upon exiting the complex, he took the form of a little finch and flew off. Leaving them behind.
"Wow...you realize I am NOT running there, right?" He looked back to Veronica with a dull face while he pointed at Emile flying off.
