Looking back down at Edward, Lance couldn't help but make a tear, biting his bottom lip as he watched him become closer and closer to death by the second. "Edward... what you told me... about my dad."

"..." Waiting for Lance to continue, Edward just waited patiently, forcing himself to stay alive.

"...it was true. Wasn't it?"

"...yes." Edward answered, gently grabbing his hand and holding it.

"...then you know what I think?" Lance told him, gripping onto his hand as he tilted his head too far down for anybody to see his face. "...I think you're a nutcase." he finished.

For a moment, a frown appeared on Edward's face. But it quickly turned into a smile, for some reason. Not uttering a single word, Edward just slowly lost feeling in his hand, his entire arm dropping as his eyes closed. But the smile on his face still didn't go away. Even... when he died.

Sulking his hidden face in the shadow of his hair, Lance neglected to see the principle cower off, down a hidden hallway nearby. However, it wasn't quite the same for Veronica.

"Huh?" Veronica slowly stood up, and walked over to the end of the hallway on her tip toes. She looked down the hallway, the principle was going. Luckily he was rather slow. She turned around to Lance and Kaji "Psst!" She called for their attention. "C'mon" She whispered, signaling them to come. "Hurry for god's sake!" She hissed at them, glancing at the principle every now and than.

"Whats wrong?" Kaji asked in a normal voice not understand why she was whispering and hissing like a maniac.

The red headed woman took the picture back in her hands and looked at his "That little girl in the picture?" She started "That's my daughter, She was stolen from me, after I had given birth to her at such a young age.. I've been trying to find her for a while now, but being stuck in this dump, hasn't really helped in the process.." Sango sighed, her country accent seemed to completely vanish now. "..."

Hakel arrived at the top of the hill to see what seemed like a concrete barrier. "Now this is more like what i was looking for." Hakel said smiling as he slipped down the hill and grabbing his claymore he swung at the metal lock. The lock smashed and Hakel kept moving forward towards an entrance. Unknown to Hakel a red light was flashing in a corner sending off the alarm.

Wiping his tears away with his wrist, Lance knelt back up and walked over to Veronica and Kaji. "What is it?" he asked, peeking around the corner to see the principle exit through some back door. "What the... lleh?" he wondered, stepping out into the hallway as the principle set off with the door wide-open.

Shoving Lance out of the way, Veronica headed down the hallway "Let's just see where this scum is heading.." She told the two, while walking out of the door.


"Wow" Tara said under her breath "Well, now.. you will see her... and stuff" Tara said awkwardly, with a small smile.

"Yeah, I was just about to suggest that.." Kaji said following behind*Veronica and Lance. "Hmm..." She glanced back at Edward, it felt wrong to her to just leave him there, even if he was dead.. She went over and grabbed the white table cloth and covered up his body. "Much better.." The girl said, running back to catch up with the others.

"Hm, yeaahh..." Sango said feeling alittle nervous "My name is Sango by the way..."

"Are we all accounted for?" Lance asked, before walking out the door. Turning around, he looked at Veronica and Kaji, standing there foolishly. "...wait. ...is it just us three?" he asked, staring blankly at the both of them.

"Yes..Got a problem with it?" Veronica asked glaring at him. She continued walking "Hurry up a bit, before we lose him...!"
