He summons the sun/moon/not-sure-which to crush the opponent in Tsukiomi. Pobably the moon as it means moonlight (correct me if i'm wrong)

I couldn't see what it did in the videos i've seen. It makes black splotches appear on the opponent. Continuous damage?

the opponent is stuck in the ground and a giant ball comes crashing down upon them...if thats what you meant

it really didnt look like genjutsu in NUN3 when it created a huge crator in the ground

COMON GOLD HAWK. THIS IS GENJUSTU HE'S CASTING. HE HAS COMPLETE CONTROL OF EVERTHING IN TSUKIYOMI. HE CAN HAVE HIS OPPONENT SUFFER WITH ANYTHING HE CHOISES WHICH HAPPENS TO BE STUCK IN THE GROUND WHILE SUN GOD IS BEING PULLED TOWARDS NARUTO.
