Gaara is Kage-Leveled & has alot of power. Although Kakashi was nearly chosen for the title of the Hokage he still isnt that great. Gaara is still more powerful. Gaara could've killed Deidara so easily if he didnt worry about Suna.

narutimettohero you bring up a good point if gaara couldve beat deidara its possible he could beat kakashi.kakashi and naruto had to take on deidara and if you think about it why would he put kakashi in the fight unless he couldnt do it alone.



ps gaara vs deidara had many variables in it so deidara winning may have been chance?

Hey I know how to put an end to all of this. If Kisimoto wishes it any character could beat any character, that includes konahamaru beating anyone. So all in all, youd have to give power ratings to each indiviudals characteristics, abilities, endurence, and anything else. Then youd have to weight out the options and then you could make a legitimate answer. However in truth since kakashi basically copies everything, he can do most of what gaara does with the exception of anything to do with the sukaku. Why not try pitting non-naruto related characters against other series. That usually get wild and ends up being funny cause everyone just plays favorites.

In my opinion I think Kakashi could win. He almost got chosen to be the Hokage so I'd put him on a Kage level. That puts Gaara and Kakashi on the same level, now Kakashi is older than Gaara and has had many more battle experience than Gaara. So now Kakashi has the upper hand, in the other hand Gaara has the power of using sand in many ways so that is a plus for Gaara. Kakashi has the Sharingan and IF he is in an urgent state he could use the MS so I give it to Kakashi.
