Spicing up RPs! @.o

Yeah but seriously, what do we have to lose if we try this? Nothing. I'm not saying all of the other RPs are to be deleted immediately or dropped. I'm just saying maybe we should ALL work to make the new RPs better and this would be one way of doing it.

@Orion: Like I said not all of the current RPs are going to be dropped. And about character development, that would be the creator's task to make it sound interesting, after that REAL character development would ensue in the sub-plots that contribute to the main plot.

I like the idea but there's a risk of losing people's attention even more now then. If you guys want to do something, I'd go wholeheartedly for it but people have to nominate the right RP's or it will never work. And, maybe some of the older members can help out the newer RPers to just make them better. Like the newer RPers have horrible grammar, godmod a lot, and do other stupid things in the RP to screw it up. So, maybe that would help some of the new RPs.

Like I was saying before, the new RPers might need to join some new RP's before they make their own. They need some experience before they create their own.

The plot may have an impact in this, however beginnings and openings can't be expected to be great unless it's from a highly skilled level role player that WANTS to make a great opening. I'm not saying nobody can do that though. Plus character development is purely a decision made by the role player. They can make it happen under certain conditions.

Exactly, that's why I was saying newer RPers should join before they create. Not create and then join later UNLESS they actually have SOME experience in the art of RPing.

But my idea might still work, by knowing what the RPers like, the people who have experience in making RPs could actually control the RP and keep the RPers happy because they like the RP in which they are in. I mean, new RPers are always going to be making new RPs because they want to try it, there is no stopping that. But if they would tell us what they liked that might not be a problem.

EDIT: If all of the RP creators could please read this, give a shout out to your members in your Role Plays to look at my idea, see if they like it. And if they do, then have them give a nomination. But really it would just be ONE nomination per RPer, the one that they would be most comfortable with.

Basically the problem is all of the role players have different tastes and it's extremely hard to please everyone. It may be even harder now due to so many role play games are out and people may not want to change that. Plus we hardly have any new role players now. Most of us have a good understanding in what we do.

Most but not all, Mike. But seeing as there are mostly veteran RPers around, I believe that most would agree with this. At this point, seeing at what we discussed, it seems to me that the previous idea discussed would probably be agreed on.

But is there an idea you guys have that can bring Rping back? If you do this could actually be a good idea for spicing up Rping.
