This thread you can post cheats for pokemon games, any pokemon game.

This cheat is for gold,silver and crystal it's for cloning: go to a pc save your game then deposit the pokemon you want to clone then switch boxes to an empty box and when it's saying "saving... don't turn off power." turn it off right away! then turn the game back on so your in front of he pc* you have the pokemon that you deposited in you party but there's a clone of it in the pc and if you get a clone of it with a different name which is a whole bunch of these ?'s then release it because it's actually the evil missingno a pokemon that only brings glitches so release it. you can also copy items by giving the pokemon an item, that item gets cloned to.

No, I don't think it works. But if you want to clone DP then use the GTS Cloning Trick or Action Replay.

Okay people are not getting not only do discuss Pokemon cheats you also POST them and say what game it's from Okay and now I'm going to post a cheat for Pokemon yellow/blue/red make sure you haven't battled the trainer with a level 17 slowpoke (In cerulean city) and the guy next nugget bridge in the grass. Then you need a Igglybuff(any level, has to know sing), an Abra and a level 12 pidgey or pidgeyotto. So what you do you bring yourself to the top of nugget bridge go left so your in front of the guy, next nugget bridge (Let's call him cat and the guy with level 17 slowpoke dog) but you can't see "cat" go foreword and quickly press pause! He hasn't seen you yet next go to Pokemon press on Abra have him do teleport so your then out of the menu then "cat" sees you so his ! comes up, but you then get teleported to the Pokemon center note you can't use start button because the game thinks your in the battle. so you then go battle "dog" beat him, your start button works again. you teleport back to the Pokemon center walk up nugget bridge the start menu comes up press B to exit it then a wild Pokemon appears and that pokemon is a level 7 mew! take out pidgey have him use gust till mew is in the red (mew only knows pound but once you catch him he learns more moves and you can teach him any move!) then take out Igglybuff and use sing till he falls asleep then use 3 pokeballs tah-dah! You've caught yourself a mew!

I'll share some old school codes that some of you young whipper snappers may not know about. This code is for versions Red and Blue. Not ruby and sapphire, not fire fred, not the remakes made by nintendo - the old school Red and Blue versions.

Get Yoshi

Expert Gamer (a magazine company that doesn't exist anymore) revealed in issue number 57 (April 1999) that it is possible to obtain Yoshi as a pokemon. Here's a scan from the magazine:



To clarify the instructions:

• Have a red and a blue version that have completed the game with having caught all 150 pokemon (note: not 151, no Mew). Sidenote: this will not work if you have encountered MissingNo.
• Trade a Dratini from the red version to the blue version.
• Evolve the Dratini to Dragonite in the blue version.
• Trade the Dragonite back to the red version.
• On the red version, go back to the Unknown Dungeon and surf closest to where Mewtwo was standing.
• Use a Firestone on the Dragonite, the option "Not Available" will appear, but it will still work.
• The screen will glitch up a little bit, and Dragonite will evolve to Yoshi.

Tip: Yoshi will maintain all of the stats as Dragonite, so you may wish to rename the Dratini to Yoshi before you trade it (since a traded pokemon cannot be renamed through the name rater).
