Whats with all the hate?

The thing I dislike about the game is that almost anything offensively is unsafe.

Want to do a combo? The opponent substitutes and grabs/jutsus/ougis you from behind

Spammers aren't even the worst thing about this game's flawed mechanics, they're beatable if you're smart about it. Itachi's Susano'o pales in comparison to the thing I'm about type. Just counter-pick Itachi with good supports to keep him at bay in the eventuality he awakens. The worst thing to encounter in this game online are those who just sit there in one spot and they just WAIT for you to attack them so they can simply sub it and punish you for big damage. What's up with that?

I know turtling is a strategy in fighting games, but this takes it to a new level. CC2 needs to patch the imbalances in this game and make offense a viable strategy now by making combo strings safe or have substituting cost more chakra and/or harder to perform, or maybe have a set number of times you can substitute. All this camping and waiting for the opponent to substitute nonsense is the REAL gamebreaker.

I don't know about you guys, but when Rockman releases his rebalance patch for Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3, I'll go play that game instead.

I totally agree with you on the campers, they ARE worse than spammers.

And yeah, Susano'o really isn't that bad once you know how to beat him.

I've never had too much problems with campers actually. If they stay in one spot, just throw shuriken, If he's dumb enough he'll keep subbing it until hes out of chakra. then rush in and attack.

Or you could place your ranged jutsu support prior to rushing in, so when he subs your chakra dash he'll get hit afterwards by a ink-tiger/clay-bird/whatever.

Even more, what I'm observing here, there's two weeks of people yelling imbalance at some strategy(like deidara square combo, susano'o, and now camping), then afterwards a counter strategy is found. That's competitive gaming! I say we must discuss these campers more and find strategies against them! We can do it!

Beating campers is as simple as beating spammers with spam.

Two campers going head to head may be a boring match, but if you want to win its best to go ahead and learn how to camp a little yourself or be able to counter it.

Camping or no camping you have to attack to win. And you cant win on supports alone (well you can but that would be a very dull match, lol hope online play never comes to that).

In a camping match the rule is pretty much you run the clock and most health wins.

Its best to know your punishing opportunities. When an opponents uses combos, you can knj out of them and punish with a grab or ninjutsu(U1), ultimate jutsu (U2), or Team Ultimate Jutsu(U3).

Punishing a combo that would've only taken out about 10% of your health with an attack that takes out around 25% cannot be seen as bad.And if this is happening to you, then be careful of the times when you use combos.Use them only when your opponents chakra is low or gone or when you have a support that could save you from being punished.

SC- Storm Combo

Strike Back into U2 or 3

Shikamaru support on balanced.

All good ways to win. They punish not only campers but anyone who's not on the top of their guard game.


There are more strategies that go more in depth that I would love to explain to all you guys but I think you shoul dtry some of these ways out first and get a feel for them.

Practice them and build upon them yourselves.

i think there are some aspects of the fighting that can be fixed but i get into games for the story

the story and battling was pretty epic but can be agreed that the ultimate adventure mode's graphics were a HUGE step back

yeah its cool u can move to all the places in the story but its 2d unlike the amazing looking storm 1 konoha

im really upset that the level konoha in battle mode looks better than the actual konoha u run around in lmao

look I think that the most of the pll that hate the game are do so cause they simply expected more from it...
what i mean is that they probably extect to be able to climb throught houses in the city like the first game or the lethal attacks to kill the enemy or even the atacks to be more bloody and brute... just saying :P

All I want to do is drop a lil knowledge on some of you ill fated gamers out there who have the the gull to say this game isnt simplely one of the best fighters in in the last 10yrs. Fact: This isnt SF, MvC, Tekken, or DBZ or any other fighter out there. Its actually a breath of fresh air, No longer am I forced to stick to either the left or right side of the screen with only jumping over my opponent to change that issue. Then there are the cry babies who call foul in statements such as this(He Spammed me, and what not.) News flash again this isnt one of those above mentioned games because this one is special.... see they have this lil trick called substituion. which means any move thrown at you u can sub it, ult jutsu or reg jutsu's, Kuni or chakara charged Kuni. If you dont want to use all your chakara on subs a well timed ninja dash will fix that prob. Unlike SSF or MvC the endless combos dont work here and I love it. The only real gripe I can say about this game is the puppits but other then that , I can deal with the laggers, or the spammers because actually in everygame you have those, but with this one if u have skill they can be beat and trust me I beat alot of them. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion so don't call out one group of people just because they don't like some aspects of the game. To be honest the game was a big disappointment for myself as well. It was rather....disappoint with what they did put in and took out.

Thus why I avoid the online fighting portion of games most the time, too much anger against gaming strategies. It could be worse, we could be filled with laggers, those who employ software to purposely lag your online fight.
