I also started watching it on toonami when i was younger since the first episode came on , i used to always watch cartoonnetwork* trying to find good cartoons/anime that was as good as DBZ and when i saw naruto for the first time i knew it was gonna be a big hit. Like one of the guy above me stated, "to bad cartoonnetwork whent down the drain"* or something like that a long time ago, i used to love watching "cartoon, cartoon Friday."
Funny this is, I saw this picture of kakashi, it was an avatar type, and I wanted to edit it with Photoshop, and so i did, and i went to show it off to a guild i was part of, and one of the guys said "that’s kakashi, i didn’t know you like naruto" of course i didn’t know what he was talking about and so i looked into it, I saw one episode and then, I was*hooked for life, that was when Naruto was 101 episodes deep. LOL I was tight once i reach that number, cus that was when the every week waiting began
A friend kept telling me how awesome it was but i kept ignoring him about it. finally i saw a clip about it like 6 months later and i have been hooked. its been like 5 or 6 years now and i still cant get enough.
For me i started when i went to the library to meet up with a friend and he was reading the zabuza and haku fight against team 7 and i read a few chapters with them online looked it up and started reading than started watching and havnt been able to or wanted to stop since that was back around 2003 2004 i believe... back a bit before it first got dubbed
I started watching naruto when it came on on Disney XD. but I did not want to wait for those episodes a week so I went online to the website and watched it until I caught up to the latest episode. Thats how I got into it.
