It sucks because it ain't complete. >.> It's like...watching a great anime in it's sketch phase. But yes I am happy, thank you very much. >:I I wonder if all the ranks of everyone will carry over. I mean, like moderators and such, not the ANBU or Jonin stuff.
Don't worry, I've compiled a small list of initial bugs and we're passing it onto the dev team ASAP. It should be resolved soon.
Either Midori or I will be serving as moderator, or possibly both of us. But we do have new admin leadership that will be much more active.

The "guest" ranks that everyone has is one of the bugs, it's why we can't edit posts right now. This will be resolved. Don't worry about spam too much.
Like the avatar and signature option not working? Or the about me stuff? Not to mention the friend stuff? But yeah, I know it just opened this afternoon so everything isn't gonna be all shiny and new. Quick question. The avatars are gonna be the FORUMS, right? Then the profile picture is just what you have on your profile now, right?
Not to worry, I know about your concerns and I've already submitted a bug report.
I am not considering the avatar issue a "bug", since it isn't a problem with the site but rather a policy issue. The permission set says we have the option to choose profile pictures (which, yes, only display in the profile). It's simply a matter of altering the policy, if they allow it. I'll raise the concern about avatars.
It's most likely the default for EVERY site made with Vbulletin. I never found the clocks on these sites to be all that accurate, either...I certainly don't miss the constant refresh after one minute on the Who's Online. >.>
Why would a forum made for a North American fan site have it's default time set for London?
It's all about Time Zones.
The default time should be GMT, the Greenwich Mean Time - which is also known as "Universal Time" now. The way computers recognize time is by counting the number of seconds it has been since January 1, 1970. In order to standardize the time zones, servers (for websites and stuff) use GMT time. If you live in New York City, then you are GMT-4 Hours. That means if it is 5PM in Greenwich, then it is 5PM-4hours = 1PM in New York.
The use of GMT time allows a person to in New York City to post at 5PM, and a person in San Francisco California to see that message get posted at 2PM. If you make a post and it says, "oh, it's 5PM in New York so I'll mark this as 5PM for everyone" then it would mess up when someone from San Francisco sees the post and the time says it's in the future.
Incidentally, that means if you live in California - "hello from the future!" Even though it's not really the future... I am still 2 hours ahead of you! Those of you in New York, I envy your 1 hour of futureness.
