Top 10 Strongest Shinobi of all Time ...

Hey everyone, Im getting tired of trying to figure out who are the strongest shinobi in Naruto. I want to be able to have a 99.9% chance that these are the strongest 10 shinobi of all time.

So with that said, Id like you to help me figure this out.
Please post if you have suggestions, comments, questions, or concerns.

Here is how I think the list of the top 10 should go...

1. Hashirama Senju
2. Madara Uchiha
3. Minato Namikaze
4. Hiruzen Sarutobi
5. Yondaime Raikage
6. Tobirama Senju
7. Itachi Uchiha
8. Naruto Uzumaki
9. Sandaime Tsuchikage
10. Kakashi Hatake

If you think the order is wrong please comment and tell why or what order.
Or please tell if you think somebody should be removed and another shinobi should be placed in that spot.

I have my reasons for each of those shinobi being placed there.

I like the list for the most part, but i think that itachi should be moved up a place. Also, i don't really think Naruto should be up there. There are tons of other strong ninja in the naruto world who don't have to rely on the power of the nine tailed fox. Neji Hyuuga, his uncle (never remember his name right..), or the Female Kage from the council....i think.....uhhh Mizukage? anyway, that's just my opinion! other than that. good list

That list is contradictory much like the manga it's self. It's been said Minato is the strongest Hokage of all time, and he beat Madara in a fight. However Madara was only a "shell" of his former self at that point and was beaten by the First at his strongest. So there for the Fourth should of had no problem with him during their fight however he did. If anything Minato should be number one for the simple fact it's been stated he's the strongest Hokage of all time and he beat Madara.

I don't think Naruto belongs on the list, not yet anyway. Largely because he's not strong because of his own strength, he's strong because of the strength of the 9-tails. On his own, he's not all that special. Admittedly, with the 9-tails' strength he's very powerful - but power and strength are different things

It's hard to make a definitive list when we have so many top tier characters we barely know anything about. For example we have never seen the White fang in action but he was on par with any of the Sannin, or Hanzo the salamander who barely got one fight.

However unless he gets a pretty good upgrade in the war Kakashi dosn't belong on the list. He simply doesn't have the stamina to match the top tiers nor the damage output.

By the way Naruto using his tailed beast is no different then say Neji using his bloodline. Considering how hard he had to work to master it's power I'd say he more then earned it.

As things stand now, based on what we know

Sage of the sixth paths
First Hokage in his prime
Madara in his prime
Naruto (With Sage Mode and Fox mode combined)
Sasuke (with Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan)
Forth Hokage
Third Hokage (in his prime)
Third Tsuchikage (in his prime)
Pain

After that your guess is as good as mine. We have way too many strong characters to really pin point a finally spot

I have to disagree with the argument that Naruto should not be on the list
Forgetting the Nine Tailed Fox
Naruto is a Sage
The Nine Tailed Fox is an added box now for him
he use to rely on it completely before
When he was fighting Pain, he was beating him up pretty well with his own powers

And also Naruto is pretty special
not everyone gets to learn the Sage Acts
You need a certain quality
Not like Sasuke and Madara who simply steal people's eyes LOL

Man some of you are forgetting the whole point of having a tailed beast sealed inside someone is for them to make that beasts strength their own. Naruto had to train and train and train to master the Nine tails power, he didn't just get it handed to him on a silver platter like Sasuke mostly does. It's as much a part of him as Sasuke's eyes and should count as his own power.

Besides even if Naruto didn't have the Nine tails he's still ubber enough in Sage mode to beat up virtually any living character in the series.

In my OPNION, Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha should and seem to be hailed as the strongest shinobi who walked the ninja world. Their battle cause the earth to crumble beneath them creating the Valley of The End. HOWEVER, there are legends who only appear once in a lifetime such as The Legendary Fourth Hokage, The Third Hokage, Kakashi Hatake, and Itachi Uchiha. Its just how I am, I personally feel that The Fourth Hokage HAS and HAD talents beyond belief. I honestly think no shinobi could surpass him besides Naruto. The Fourth Hokage is in his own catorgory. Kakashi and Itachi both I THINK were child prodgies. Kakashi is my FAVORITE CHARACTER, but I will have the honor to say that his power is declining because of his age..

Here is a modified version of that list that may be more reasonable..

Seems like you got rid of Naruto. Midori brought up a fairly good point, that the jinchuriki power inside him is not unlike the power of a kekeigenkai. There seems to be more garned support in that direction than the other, so why shouldn't Naruto be considered?

Also, are we talking about the latest chapter of the manga/anime from Japan? Or the latest for America? Or what??

Actually I would argue that Kakashi isn't even at the peek of his power yet and still has room to improve, especially if he picked up that special white chakra from talking with his father in the in between world. He's very deadly, enough so that even stronger ninja are weary of him for good reason as even thought he's weaker he's experienced enough that he could cause them some pretty good damage and possible even kill them if he got lucky. There's a reason he was up for nomination to be the Hokage after all.

But even WITH all that his power still pales in comparison to the truely legendary ninja of the world. Look how much trouble he had with just 1 Pain and that was with help and Pain was just a pale shadow of the original Sage of the six Paths and nowhere near using his full potential.

If what the story says is true the Sage of the sixth paths created the moon and basically invented ninjutsu as we know it. He literally had an ability that allowed him to warp reality. Their is little doubt that he is the strongest ninja to ever walk the earth.

First hokage - Hard to argue against this. Could control the tailed beast, had the wood element this guy was a beast during his life time and was one of the strongest ninja who ever lived.

Madara - He's not the big bad for nothing. Even as a former shell of himself he's still nearly invincible and feared.

4th Hokage - The dude had a flee on sight order from Hidden Stone... Nuff said

3rd Hokage - He wasn't called God of Shinobi in his prime for nothing.

4th Raikage - Dude lost an Arm and nearly a leg fighting Sasuke... While he's strong he's not exactly top 10 material.

Tobirama - What has he ever done to stand out? The first, Third and forth have all been said to be the strongest Hokage at various times. He got pretty beat up by the Gold and Silver Brothers and that's WITH fighting them with help. Sure he won in the end but those two aren't exactly the most impressive ninja I've ever seen.

Itachi - Eh we've never seen him fight at 100% while not sick/dying,not going blind and actually trying to win. Given how hax he was I could see some pretty goo arguments about maybe being in the top 10.

Fifth Mizukage - Um what... We don't have very much data on her since she hasn't gotten a real fight so far and little background info. But what exactly has she done that makes you think she's all that? Strongest female ninja we've seen so far? Sure thing. Top 10 thought? She doesn't seem THAT strong.

Third Tsuchikage - Ability to disintagrate matter at a molecular level... One of the few people to ever fight with Madara and live to tell the Tale... This guy was a beast in his prime. Even as a shell of his former self now he's still quite formidable.

Pain - In his main body Nagato had the ability of all 6th paths combined... Yikes!
