Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations made its highly anticipated Japanese release in February. A month later, North America and Europe both had the chance to jump in on the fun. A few short months have passed and an interesting rumor has suddenly popped up – NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: ULTIMATE NINJA STORM 3 is making its way in 2013! This will be for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360, like Storm 2 and Generations, and developed by CyberConnect2.

From our understanding, Storm 3 will begin where Storm 2 left off, with the return of the action/adventure story mode. The rumor says this is all from the next issue of Shonen Jump. We will have to see it to believe it, but our heart certain skipped and beat, or two, upon reading this. As the title says, this is a rumor! Lets wait to see if Shonen Jump delivers any exciting news to us. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, we would love it, that is for sure!

A rumor has surfaced on Japanese websites that the next issue of the Japanese weekly magazine Shonen Jump contains an announcement for a new Naruto Shippuden game. The rumor is that the popular Naruto Shippuden series will be getting a second "real" sequel in the form of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3.

Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations was released earlier this February in Japan and made its way stateside in March. Having met success in the marketplace, Namco Bandai Games is purported to be planning a new title for release in 2013 on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The rumor goes on to state that the new title will continue where Storm 2 left off, with the return of the adventure story mode.

Fans, have your fingers crossed and hope this one's for real—Generations was a blast and there's no such thing as too much Naruto.

1st namco always does a good job.
My idea for a naruto video game.
why not make a naruto akatsuki game.
called rise of akatsuki
where you play only with akatsuki member and the bonus is creating your very own akatsuki character and jutsu.
the story would be base on akatsuki capture all jinchuuriki.
plus a side story involving your created character.
online mode where you play mission with friends and a battle online mode where creative character fight each other.
creating mode - your character can have either byakugan , sharingan, rinnengan or regular eyes.
jutsu- earth , water, wind , fire.
make your own jutsu and village you came from
u can be a mixture of itachi and pain.
your character can be a good or bad through the story
start good and spy on akatsuki for your village then turn evil and attack your village. the freedom to be good or bad in the game
meeting and fighting many character from naruto (neji, naruto, &etc)
travel to all the village. etc

Hey people, just a quick post here.

Check out these new gameplay videos of Darui, Hanzo and Mifune.

I am loving Darui and Mifune. Both have pretty awesome movesets, and perhaps the most impressive Ultimates for a while. Though wouldn't mind Darui's jutsu to be updated from Generations. These give me hope on some awesome new characters and perhaps updated movesets on old characters. What you guys think? Look promising or what?

How do you update a character's moveset when the character has done jack on screen since the last game with them was put out?

Then again if you can give characters who've virtually never fought a move set I suppose anythings possible.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. Would be nice to see something new rather than recycling everything from the two previous titles is all I'm saying

While I am indeed excited to have another Ultimate Ninja Storm game landing, I can honestly say that there are a lot of changes I would make to the core of the game that would make it more enjoyable for fans of the franchise and fighting games in general. I actually made an account on here today because I wanted to post a thread for Namcobandai so they can at least be made aware of what their fans want. However, it may have to wait a little while since apparently I need to reply to 10 threads before I can make my own. However keep your eyes open and I will be soon posting an indepth analysis of the series and what I would do to improve it.
